H2b not confirmed!

Hi everyone,
New here,but getting addicted already!My H2b is from U.K.,He was baptised a catholic,but never had confirmation.Do ye think this will be a problen getting married in a catholic church?
Also does anyone know anything about an Apostile stamp we have to get on his birth cert??
And one more thing,does he have to get a letter of freedom??

Getting all excited now that I've actually started the ball rolling :o)ll

He defo has to have made his confirmation. Im sure if u talk to ur priest he can arrange this for him! Not sure about the stamp but he would need a letter of freedom! Bit of a pain but it has to be done :eek

Speak to the priest about the confirmation, this has been waived a lot recently as a requirement as the church needs all the followers it can get!!

Don’t panic until you speak with the priest you might get a surprise!! No Idea re the stamp, but id speak to the priest and when you’re asking him about the confirmation ask about the letters of freedom, I’d probably get them anyway to look as if you are really eager if you know what I mean!!

Hi, we're in the exact same situation. Just got h2b birth cert sorted this week. The details of what you have to do are here http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/about-us/what- ... -to-apply/ (hope link works!) We had it back in less than 2 weeks and it cost nearly €60 with postage.

He also wasn't confirmed but our priest said he can do that and not to worry about it until after Easter so definitely ask your priest about it. Need the letters of freedom also and thats next on the list to get sorted! Hope that helps!

Had a friend in same situation and he had to go and get confirmed but it was no biggie- another excuse for a celebration O-O
