There really isnt much benefit but its against the law not to and if something happens and you're not registered then you're just assumed to be the big bad landlord always in the wrong.

Well it's a private rental now anyway.

But just an update, tenant has moved home, but have found out still claiming rent allowance for my place!!! 2 mOnths later!!!
