Not having a hen night/weekend etc

Not having a hen night/weekend etc

Postby C13 » Fri Mar 02, 2022 3:39 pm

How many more times do i have to tell people I'M NOT HAVING A HEN NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't want one, not into them and people just aren't getting it! :eek I don't mind going on them for other people but its just not me! its taking enough to build up towards the wedding and the thought of standing in front of people and being the centre of attention so to speak!

You HAVE to have a hen party! I mean himself is having a stag.

Sorry another joke. I've heard them all.

I didn't have a hen night but I went out for dinner with my sister, some friends, my mother, my then FMIL, my cousin and my aunt. It was a nice night and I enjoyed it. I didn't want a long session and no one hassled me for it. Hope your own plans work out the same way. H2B and some of his friends went for a quiet drink and he was back home the following day, no crazy trip worthy of The Hangover films. He was adamant that he did not want a stag weekend.

My SIL (hate calling her that) told me while she sat having dinner in our house one night, that if Mr. Jawl died between now and our wedding, all his money would go to her kids!!!!! :ooh :ooh :ooh :ooh :ooh :ooh :ooh :ooh :ooh

Why would you say such a horrible thing??

I sure do Jawl! Its a complete b*tch fest sometimes! His mother is the kind that wants to know everything about everyone yet she's very guarded about her own lot! Although she let the guard down one day and started talking about her daughter in law in a not so nice light! she suddenly realised she was talking to a "stranger" in me and stopped right in her tracks! her daughter in laws ears must have been burning cos she was b*tching about the mother in law then the next time i saw her! :o0

Oh my god Jawl are you serious! What kind of crazy is she saying that kind of an awful thing?! Some people are just a law unto themselves really! Like you i can't deal with the whole calling his sisters my SIL's! to me i have my own sisters! fun times!

C13 I got married at Christmas and felt I was putting enough expense on people so I didn't want to add to the burden and have a weekend hen as well - plus I am of the opinion that 2nights of a hen is a recipe for disaster!! I just had one great nite out very civilised a meal and a few drinks and had great aul craic!! Do what u want to do and feck the rest of them!
