Re: Just sick of it all.....
when you get your car back pack all the clothes you dont want into a bag and bring to clearout.ie they give you money for them not much but might be a nice top or something and cheer up because truly we are all in the one boat. just had the clutch go in the stupid car cost me a nice 540 and a days annual leave. dont even get me started on petrol.... lets just say if i could cycle to work id have that car thrown into a wheelie bin

Re: Just sick of it all.....
you know what Me Julie thats exactly what im gonig to do!!!!!!!
i know of a clearout place nearby & am gonna pack up the heap of sh1te & take it there. all loose baggy, knobbly, bobbly clothes ![]() had a few bob put aside for new stuff then the fkn car gave up ![]() ![]() oh dont talk to me just dont talk to me. drink. thats teh only answer. drink
Re: Just sick of it all.....![]() Don't really have anything to say except the usual crap of "Chin Up" etc ![]() 100% agree on the clearout - I did it a while back and it was liberating. Haven't replaced anything yet though ![]() And only final thing
this made me smile - sorry I know it's horrible for you but I just had images of your neighbour http://onslow.homecraftedsite.com/ Re: Just sick of it all.....
hahaahhha thanks for the laugh
![]() would you believe its a girl my age who did this to me!! long story .wont even go there. muppet
Re: Just sick of it all.....
Been there pet, I live in the middle of nowhere too & I don't drive - sometimes it's like a never-ending circle of housework, seeing nobody, depression, "Mammy" every two seconds, cleaning, sh!te clothes, no motivation - drink definitely isn't the answer!
When you get rid of the car, get the child into the buggy and go for a walk. Clear your head. Then do have a good clearout of all your clothes - even if you're only left with a pair of jeans and a top by the end of it, do it. If you've got any old baby stuff or other stuff to sell, pop it up on donedeal.ie or adverts.ie and make another few quid that way. Do something nice for yourself too, even if it's just getting a bag of popcorn & a DVD for yourself on Saturday night. Don't worry about your eyebrows, I'm sure they're not going to spiral out of control for another few days ![]() Re: Just sick of it all.....
thats a great idea, think i wil get something nice but i will prob end up getting wine& feeling pukey Sun morning. not fair on the baby ![]() ![]()
Re: Just sick of it all.....
i agree with candlequeen, spend the time when you have no car and DH working to do a big clearout, it can be very liberating! Then get yourself a little treat (wine, chocolates or whatever) for when you kiddie is in bed and DH is working and relax with a major chick flick! I know I'd be going mad at €800 on the car but try make the most of not 'having' to drive anywhere this weekend
+1 ![]()
Re: Just sick of it all.....
I must admit i kinda liked teh idea of not 'having' to go anywhere this weekend til dh rang to say he organised a lift to & from work on Sat/Sun. poor man is doing his absolute best. he deserves better
Re: Just sick of it all.....
Don't say your husband "deserves better" ~ he has (I'm sure) a wonderful wife and beautiful child! You are being quite hard on yourself ~ as another poster said embrace the fact that you don't have to go anywhere! I brought clothes to clearout also, feels great to get rid of old stuff and I bought a new top!
