DH does say I moan too much. I told him there was a very simple way to get me to stop and that was to do what I say

I think it becomes nagging depending on how often you give reminders.. however helpful they may be. :o0 It also depends on if you are sounding like a shrill fish wife or not. I try the nonchalant approach, before going nuclear.

Oh apparently I'm a terrible nag, doesn't matter how nicely I ask him to so something I am nagging. He comes home and gives out about people in work not doing x,y or z. Sitting around doing nothing when there is plenty to do and moaning when you ask them to do something. Ehhhh this all sounds very familiar its you at home darling! which is why I sound like such a nag!!!!!

I do try this most of the time, however yesterday morning when the bins weren't put out I wasn't too happy :-8 I text and told him he was supposed to put them out and all I got was oh I forgot. I was like I know you forgot because your 6.5 month pregnant wife just had to empty the bins and put them out and it was quite a struggle. Then he got all stroppy. I just don't get why he can't remember, then when I tell him, it's nagging. What if I forgot to make the dinner or wash the clothes???

I got sick of feeling like a nag so we have a blackboard in our kitchen and I write a list of jobs for him to do i.e bring in fuel, empty bins etc. If he doesn't do the jobs or he tells me he forgot I tell him I'm going to "forget" to do the shopping and "forget" to wash his uniforms! He doesn't forget too much lately and I don't get to feel like a nag! :o0 :o0

A common complaint so! What really annoys me is when I get "the face" after only asking once or twice, in a very non-fish-wifey "did you get a chance to..." sort of way.

Sherwood, I did something like that last month. One Saturday when I was up at stupid o'clock with DD, instead of doing all the jobs I usually do while he's having his lie in (he watches tv with her when it's my turn) I wrote them down and gave him the list when he got up. He was delighted, apparently he "works well under instruction"...if only he was programable :o0
