friends of ours gettng married 22nd DEC. we have to travel 4hrs to it. have 2 yr old.

WTF >:o(

they tried to get week before hand but couldnt.

Well I'm just going to say it.

Fuck the Wedding day part 2.

Don't go. Dragging out weddings/hen/stag do's are a personal pet hate of mine. Go to the wedding and go home the next day, you can rest then head out to sort as much as you can.

So don't go. Or just make sure you're organised before you leave and only go for 1 night. Not really that complicated.

I know you are letting off steam, but think you should calm down a little. Ruin Christmas? You might just have to be a bit more organised, have presents wrapped, turkey collected etc. Don't go to the second day. I'm sure seeing as it is so close to Christmas they will understand people travelling from far cannot stay around. I am sure you weren't top of their priorities when they booked their wedding, they didn't book it just to annoy you.

drive from west Mayo to Cork with a 2 year old after a day at a wedding??

anyways just makes things complicated for us & wud be worst in the world if we dont stay for Day 2 & booze all day etc etc even though we dont have child minder etc.

DH wants to stay there. he is Groomsman

no biggie. its a long ways away.
