Half way through the service OH and I realised that he had forgotten the marriage paperwork! We live nearly an hour from the church :duh: The panic and annoyance that came over me all at once! As the ceremony ended I sent OH straight to the priest to explain and ask him not to draw attention to it. I had fears of people laughing about this in years to come and it being what my wedding was known for!!

Anyway thankfully we had other stuff that needed to be signed and no one seemed to notice that the BM and CBM didn't sign anything.

Best man left the church as quick as he could and drove to our house to get it and arrived at the reception a little late but again no one really noticed and we still had plenty of time to get bridal party pics (while he was gone we got all the family pics done)

A couple of things - my aunt spilt mulled wine all down my dress before dinner - thankfully the hotel had dry cleaning solution on hand which got most of the damage out - apparently it's not uncommon.
Dh forgot my second wedding rung(was going to have my nanny's ring blessed and wear that inn work as my own band is not plain so I can't wear it in work)
The wrong car arrived for the bm and the singer forgot the air to out first dance so it doesn't sound great on the video although we did not notice on the day

Nothing major..
I put the wedding ring on the third finger of OH's RIGHT hand. The priest didn't notice, and we didn't cop it until driving to the reception AFTER we'd had all our photos! I went for my left hand, forgetting OH was facing me, and left and right are reversed. I'm a gobsh!te.. Plus I hope that doesn't make our marriage invalid :-8
It rained from ceremony on Thursday, til we left the hotel on Sunday, but we didn't mind too much! O-O

My car never turned up so I was over an hour late and registrar was saying she had to go as she had another wedding to go to. I had my sisters practically sit on her so she did not leave. I arrived in a taxi at break neck speed nearly missing my own wedding! :-8

My venue was 45 mins away from were I was staying and we had to wait a few min for taxi to get there then got lost and stuck in road works ...... some1 was looking down on me !
