Table Plans

Posting this in newly weds because I figure u girls know the answer to my question about table plans. Can you give me any suppliers that did this up for you or let me know how I would even start going about this I have googled but they seem to quite dear €100 odd which we totally cannot afford. Any help in any way is appreciated. Only 3 weeks left so need to get a move on!!!

Our hotel did our table plan for us. Just emailed it on to them. Have you asked your wedding coordinator?

Our hotel just printed it on A3 paper and put it on fancy pedestal at the ballroom entrance but also A4 copies were left on tables in the private bar before the meal. I had decided to do my own but ran out of time but what we had decided on was cheap heart shaped Memo frame in Argos and hanging each table out of each slot cheap and looks well.

I wouldn't spend loads on this as only used for the tiniest part of the day and nobody but you will remember it.

A friend of mine did it on a wedding tree recently, it was really cute and could be done easy. You can buy the trees on Etsy, then just buy some card, then on each card have the table name/number and then the people sitting there. Then hang the cards from the branches of the tree, you can even match the ribbon to your colour scheme.

Our hotel had an easel with a fancy frame on it, where they just stuck the names on printed white pages, we liked the idea but wanted something a bit more classy.
I thought I could DIY it so we went looking for a nice frame but couldn't find an off the shelf frame that was suitable with enough windows so we ended up having it professionally made by Boyne Framing in Drogheda.
I printed off the tables and names on nice thick parchment paper, with gold coloured ink, brought them to the framer and he cut the mount - 12 tables and an extra space for a photo & we picked a lovely gold frame & it was set behind glass.
