Mission Impossible has offically started!!!! I today joined the motivation weight loss clinic with a mission of 3 stone in my 20 weeks!!!
I am a starting weight of a whopping 16 stone and 8 pounds!!! Getting married in 1 year from yesterday 03/09/2022 so 3 stone will get me to wedding dress shopping and the other 3 will be up to the wedding!!!
Lookig for all the support I can get off you all, have tried weight watchers and liptrom and system 10 and I would not knock any of them because they all done the trick for me but never keep me interested so this time and with wedding and health problems only around the cornor I am going to give this welly!!
Its not a diet its a change of lifestyle and getting rid of bad habits etc!!!

Hi there!!!
Its a clinic that you go to every week, they motivate you to loose weight by trying to change your bad habits, encourage healthy eating with some protein supplements etc!! Have a long battle ahead of me with about 70 or 80 pounds to loose but I am hopeful this time!! There are two options to do one is a medically supervised one and the other just your clinic meetings, they have some wonderful success stories, look it up on the web. They have been on Xpose and Ireland Am etc. Not cheap but would give my right arm to get to a healthy weight and look nice on wedding day!!!

Best of luck with it chick. One of my friends started this time last year and has lost over three stone on it. She looks fantastic and I am so proud of her. You've got the motivation of your wedding day next year, you'll do it no problem to you

Well done on that MOS2009, That is brilliant going 2 11 in the 11 weeks fair play to you, sounds like you are giving it hell the Gym 5 times a week, I was going to get into food side this week and hit the gym next week so as not to put the body into shock altogether!! Would you do much in the gym?? Are you on the medically supervised on or just normal???

Thanks, its hard work but worth it. Im on the medically supervised programme. I do 30 minutes Cardio ( Treadmill, rowing Machine, cross Trainer) and 30 minutes weights in the gym. You are right to get used to the food side first, I did the same, didnt start the gym 2 weeks into the programme. I had terrible headaches the first 4 days of the diet, It was probably from having no carbs. Are you on the medically supervised programme?

HI MOS2009,
No I am doing really well on my few days anyway but I am only only the normal one, so do have a little few carbs still in the diet, must be really hard without them!! You must be thrilled with your results so far??? When are you getting married, would it be super to get to our goal for wedding day!!!!! An hours work out in the gym, think I should be able to manage that from next week. Think the weights important cause my leader that I am meet twice has lost 7 or 8 stone but seems to have alot of excess flesh left around the arms, I really dont want that esp in wedding dress!!!

Hi Nora,
Yeah Im thrilled with my results so far, the hardest thingI find is the not being able to have a few drinks when i go out, can you have alcohol on your programme??? The weights are brillant for toning, I have no loose skin so far. In total Im down nearly seven stone, lost the first four on weight watchers and then joined motivation. What is your goal weight??
Im actually not getting married I googled motivation to see how others were doing and i came across this website. How many protien snacks are you on a day?? Im on three at the moment, loving the choclate bars and the strawberry & bannana jelly.

Anorexia is a mental illness, anoother person cannot cause it as simply as you put it. From what i understand you are well monitored in the clinics and your friend must have been telling them lies or else they wouldn't have treated her.
I am very sorry to hear of your friend, truly. But i don't think it is fit to blame a weighloss programme such as motivation on her anorexia. It is an extremely complex disorder and motivation clinics are well respected for their programmes and overall methods.

FAO Lexi
So sorry to hear about your friend and really it must be a terrible illness, but like hotpants said I think that is a mental illness and not the fault of Motivation weight loss clinic.
I am looking for some extra support to fight my Obesity disease and if I think and others to prove it have found them a great help and support, I am only one it one week but already I am eating so much more healthier and if anything alot more food but the right type!!!
Really dont mean any badness but hope that your friend will over come her illness
