Hey 'i'm excited' - I think you should go for the consulation and see how you get on & see what they have to say..& then you'll know yourself if you want to commit to it or not, you have nothing to loose by going! I was toiling with the idea for a long time & eventually had enough & bit the bullet! & now i'm 18lbs down in 8 weeks, which i never would have been able to do on my own, I think it's the fact of having to go & meet someone one-to-one each week & the amount of money you've paid is a big motivation! Best of luck with your decision :wv

haven't been on in a few weeks so sorry for delay
I was on normal one the cost of that alone was my motivation .. the fact that i had to pay any money at all in fact was the motivation ..
set your reason for joining is the key .. I also had a holiday booked 4 months in and used that as extra motivation ... have been at 13.2 now (yes i lost the extra few to make the 5stone) and am delighted .. What I have found is its really hard to find quick easy healthy options when too busy to cook proper protein protein carb meals ..
Anyway keep plugging guys I am also do the maintainence programme so will kepp you posted next apt early nov 5th i think ?

Give it a go is what I would say!! There about 2 weeks ago I was after having a week of late evening dinners and I was up by 2lb, if that was WW I would have just not bothering going (and told myslef I would be down the following week which would have never happened and I would have been back to square one!!
I am happy with it so far, 7 weeks up tomorrow so looking to hit the stone in the next week or two fingers crossed!!!!!

Hi there!!!

My daily diet from Mon to fri would go something like this:

Breakie: 2 turkey rashers, 1 chicken sauage grilled
Mid Morning: Either a protein bar or drink (both really really tasty
Lunch: Wrap with maybe chicken and salad
Mid afternoon: Piece of cheese and yougart
Dinner: Meat and Veg (some are restricted)
Snack: Cheese, yougart, fruit etc

Never ever hungry, but tend to go off the rails a little at the weekends, but I really do need to sort that out as my fat was down 1.5lb this week but water and muscle up so on the scales up 1lb, results would be better if I was didnt mess up at the weekends!!!

Hi Nora.

How do they work out how much fat you've lost as opposed to muscle and water? Do you stand on/hold on to one of those body fat analysers? I was looking to buy one online, but most of them seem to give average values for your height/weight/lifestyle/gender rather then actually measuring what's inside you on that day. If you could, could you check with brand motivation use?

Thanks a mil.

Hi JDD

They have a special scales where they enter your age, height etc and you have to be bare foot and they are like mental plate type things you stand on and it gives a print off with all measurements etc!!! Dont know the science behind it!!!

Motivation Clinic

Postby 2mom » Fri Nov 20, 2021 9:31 am

Hi everyone,

Just wondering how you are all getting on. Im really considering doing this. Im like Deeda2010 I have about 35lbs to go but I just can't do it myself. Like Nora said I'd go to WW and then miss a week and if I had put on anything or thought that I had I wouldn't bother going. I really need the motivation. Would love to hear more about it so fill me in.

Regards

hi all

I am with them now 11 weeks, ive lost 10 pound, which is very slow compare to other people on the programme. I was doing great but then as always I can feel myself giving up. For starters I am finding it really hard with 2 carbs a day. Everything seems to be carbs. Find it really hard not to drink so my social life is non existent at the mo, My leader is great but now im starting to feel bad going in because some weeks im the same or i only lose 1 or 2 pound. I know 1 or 2 pound is great but for the amount of money it is I should be losing a lot more compare to what i use to eat. Im finding that all i eat is mushrooms, eggs and salmon, I dont know what to eat at all because im sick of eating them foods.

Can ANYONE help me, give me a few ideas of other foods maybe. Im just gone back to my old ways of eating, i dont think ill ever lose this weight at all :(
