WATCH THIS SPACE - Motivation weight loss Clinic
Hi there!!
I am on week 11 now and I have 16lbs lost, it is after slowing down the past few weeks with just 1 a week, but honestly I could be loose more. I have not been able to exercise the past 3 weeks or so due to a very busy time with work and also with trying to finish off our house so we can move in in the nest week or two. So the question do I cheat well there are no real rules but I do slip up at weekends and then spend the rest of the week making up for it but nearly cutting out carbs mid week!!! Once get the house finished I reckon I can get exercising and go back to loose 2 a week!!!
Hi Guys
I havent heard 1 of you mention your motivation tools .. Ok lets call a spade a spade and im not critisising .. You are paying big bucks to Shift FAT .. Im assuming they have shown you the FAT / MUSCLE props .. You are keeping the diet but what about motivation and excercise.. You need to be getting in cardio excercise to burn more than whats going in. Use a treadmill or pound the pavment .. use some light wrist weights from Tesco too if you can I do 3km a day it now only takes me 12 mins a day but took 20+ at the start. IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE and only takes a short time That is why my results were so constant every week that and I do agree that men can lose the weight quicker. Go on girls you know you can do it .. you are losing so now feel the burn and maximise those results. Team Motivation .. Nov2010Groom

Hi,
Before I say anything I just wanted to confess that I am no longer a bride to be, but found your discussion a couple of weeks ago when I was searching for information on motivation. This thread gave me the encouragement I need to join up, as like many you you I had tried ww in the past (sometimes successful, some times not) but I knew my head wasn't in it and I need something major to focus me. I am now in my 5th week and so far I have lost 17lbs, which I never thought possible. I have a long way to go (starting weight was 17lbs 7, so I am now down to 16st 4lbs). I won't say that at times it hasn't been hard, but I do feel more confident than I have in years and people are commenting on my overall manner and demeanour (as opposed to my weight loss), so I do believe that the key is to not concentrate on the diet element alone but to make sure you do the motivational side of it as well, as it really has helped me get into the mindset of where I want to be, and I think thats what people are starting to notice. I'm by no means a perfect follower and there are definetly aspects of the food side of it that I don't like but I'm just trying to take it day by day, making the best choices as I go along and concentrating on the bigger picture. I know the loss is going to slow down, so I'm trying now to start building up my exercise, and when I say that, its starting from a postion of none, so even making myself walk to the shop rather than drive is an improvement and thats how I'm trying to start bringing it into my routine. As I said already, my apologise for sneaking into your website, but I just wanted to say thank you for the secret encouragement you have been giving me and maybe provide you with some support to keep going
Hi all fellow Motivation people - I Joined motivation two weeks ago and I have lost 7.5lbs already, and I didnt exercise in those two weeks at all as I was so snowed under in work thought I did the eating by the book.
I was the same as most of ye doing WW and had great results with them years ago but managed to put back on 2 of the 4.5 stone I lost - then I gave up smoking and had a child and still worked full time so fell back into really bad habits from rushing and grabbing food on the go and all that plus my portion sizes were way too much, plus bread is my all time favourite food ! Great to see the results been had by everyone its a boost to even know Im not alone when it gets tough and I feel like eating a load of bread ! Chat soon and good luck to all MrsNoc 05 [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

My weigh in is on Friday this week, I'm in week 7 at the moment and I'm really delighted with my losses to date, so far I've lost 25lbs (7, 2, 6, 2, 4, 4) which is way above anything I would've imagined.
I've been getting a wee bit anxious this week about Christmas and all the meals out etc that it'll bring, e.g. I'm going to Nevin Maguires restuarant on Sat night (its been booked for 10 months and I've been looking forward to it all year) but I'm just trying to get in the right frame of mind that I can allow myself to enjoy it without falling into my old demons of giving up as soon as I "break the diet". Its going to be a challenge but I'm trying to turn it around in my head and look at it as a chance to show what I've learned and how I'm now in control of what I eat / choices I make, and that even if I do have a few full food days, it doesn't mean I have to contrinue like that, and I can get back on track with what I'm learning works. Anyway, I would appreciate anyones elses opinions on how they are going to approach the festive season, and I'll post up this weeks weight loss (hopefully) on Friday.
Well my loss this week in Week 3 was 4 pounds and Im delighted with it so Im 2lbs off 1 stone gone now in 3 weeks My loss was as follows
(6,1.5,4) the middle week I retained water I she told me. Im slightly concerned too about what to eat and to get into the right frame of mind of not just giving up when or if I go off the rails but I think if I keep on top of my exercise and make the ''good'' choices as much as is possible then I will be ok. Any other weigh ins ? [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

I had my weight in this morning and lost 3lbs brining it up to 2 stones even, I'm absolutely chuffed and its the best Christmas present I could've given to myself.
I had a good chat with my contact (what do you call them ?) so I'm just going to do my best, enjoy the meals / choices I make, without feeling guilty about them and be good the rest of the time, try to up my exercise and keep reading the motivations books, listen to cd etc. Having reached such a milestone its showing me that I know what to do and as they say, its ok to cheat just not to give me, so thats my plan It was really good too as she took my measurements so I've lost 4inches from my waist, 2.5inches from my chest and 2 inches from my hips, so I'm going to go shopping tomorrow and treat myself to something nice to wear - I haven't seen most of my family since I started the programme, so I want to look really nice for Christmas when I do see them, and hopefully that will add to my confidence & motivation too and keep me going. I hope everyone is doing well on their programmes and that we all have a good Christmas and look forward to achieving all our goals in 2010.
Well done Teasie - 2 stone thats brilliant and it must make a big difference to you, its a great achievement and I know it can be hard sometimes but I find it mostly ok sometimes I would love to pig out but the feeling of my looser clothes and less of a belly always pulls me back !
Its like the saying I heard somewhere nothing tastes like being thin feels ! Happy christmas to you hope you do as well as you can and you want to do ! Here is to a thin 2010 to us all !!! [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

hi all
just looking for some advise, i have a stone to loose, eat plenty of rubbish, then kill myself in a gym as punishment, really is a vicious cycle, anyway i can see my weight goin in the wrong direction, tried ww before & it did work for a while. would i be able to join the motivation clinic, i dont mind paying, but not sure if they would accept me. thanks dion
Re: WATCH THIS SPACE - Motivation weight loss Clinic
Hi dion,
Your best bet is probably to give them a ring and have a chat, I know I had a meeting with them first before I signed up where they explained the programme in order for me to see if I wanted to proceed further - like everything though this meeting cost (I think it was €25 but if you signed up it came off the price), or even see if it is possible to buy any of the motivational books or cd's without signing up, but which might help you break your current cycle. It is an expensive programme but they way I figured it was, that if it worked for me it was going to be worth it, and so far it appears to be working well. But you're the only one who can decide I did lapse into my old habbits over Christmas and had a complete blow out for 5 days, I found myself eating like a demented person and going against everything I had been planning to do, but at least I found the strenght then to pull myself back in, draw a line under it and get back to the programme and have undone the "damage" and a bit extra. I did find it scary how quick I could revert back to my old ways and how quick the weight could go back on (3-4lbs) but its taught me not to be cocky and that I have to work on understanding my mental blocks and why I behave in certain situations, otherwise all this good work will have been in vein - I've my consultation on Thursday and am getting back into a routine again, which I think I need. I'd love to hear how anyone else got on over Christmas and any lessons learned
