There isn't one near me so I haven't tried it. But all the reviews seem pretty good http://www.womenrepublic.co.uk/diet_fit ... imming.htm . My partners sister does it and she has lost nearly three stone in a year.

I joined it in Dublin two weeks ago and I lost 4.5lbs in my first week. WI on Monday evening again. I had hoped to lose 2.5lbs this week to get to the half stone loss but my scales at home isn't making that look likely at all. Very worried about WI but have been every bit as healthy this week as well. Hopefully the scales at home is wrong or something.

The first time to join usually lasts just under two hours and every other week about an hour and a half but if you have to leave early or just go for weigh in, there is no problem. Good luck tuesday. Will let ye know how I get on tomorrow evening.

HI Mrs kia

For the 1st 30 mins or so you will be sitting with the leader who will explain the diet. All the existing members will be getting weighed in at this time.

Once everyone is weighed in you will join the group while everyone gets their weight loss announced and give any tips they have or problems they are having.

The leader will then give out awards to the slimmer of the week/month and do a raffle for some prizes she'll bring in.
And thats it!!
Really the time flies and you won't notice the 1.5/2 hours

Have my weigh in tonight - not too hopefull!

My wi is this evening too and not at all hopeful. Af showed up today and I think I have been retaining fluid the last few days. I don't think I have put on weight but not lost anything much despite a healthy week.

MrsKia fire the questions at me any time, I'm by no means a pro but I'll try and help

Met my aunt over the weekend and she's at slimmingworld in another town. She has lost about 5 stone and I didnt' know who she was! I've never seen her look so slim and healthy in my whole life.

We were at a BBQ and she brought syn free chocolate mouse, chicken burgers, syn free sausages and chicken skewers. I was in heven eating as much as I wanted!!

I'm going to search the slimming world website for some nice low syn snacks, I've been eating hartleys jelly pots for something sweet and I love them. I'll post back later
