It really does work!! I know a girl who did it and it was really strict, not much room for slipping!!!!!!!! Try slimming world it really works and you have so much freedom it doesnt seem restricting at all...everything in moderation as they say :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

I'm after reading a little bit about it there, sounds like it definitely works. I don't honestly know if I'd have the willpower to just eat protein and no bread, pasta or anything for a couple of weeks.

I did it after I saw how much success my CBM had with it. She lost a stone and looks great.

I did it and it's the most boring, mind sapping diet I have ever done. Yes I lost 5 pounds in two weeks, but then it stopped and wouldn't shift anymore. I stuck to it for another 6 weeks after that and still nothing.
You're so limited in what ranges of food you can have that I sometimes didn't eat anything for dinner because I was so bored, starving, but bored. My skin got really bad. Spots that wouldn't clear up and slight scarring that is only starting to go away now after a couple of months. I was sick, weak, tired and moody.

I'm now on weight watchers and losing it gently and permanently.
I would not recommend it.

I must say that i tried looooads of these and weight watchers is the one that worked for me. Lost the weight 4 years ago and i'm still the same size now!! I found it much better being weight once a week rather than hopping on the scales every 2 minutes. I also started power walking for 25 mins every morning in my trakkies before having my shower and getting ready for work and then 25 mins after work. My pooch loves the walking too :o)ll Diets really didn't work for me as i'd be sooooo good and then everytime i had an excuse i pigged out! Was grand on the diet monday to thursday but friday evening was the beginning of the "treating myself"!!! Walking was great and cutting out biscuits etc

Hi girls,
I'm on day 1 of this diet! Extreme measures called for at this stage I'm afraid!
Just bumping it as I'm wondering if anyone else is doing it?
I signed up online and am hoping it will work!

Well Wedding Diva did you start?
I'm on Day3, just finishing the Attack stage. They told me to extend it by a day because I had sausages on day one - woops! Really looking forward to Cruise now as I'm missing my vegetables. I can't really understand what harm a few veggies would have done the last few days. However, I'm down two lbs on the scales so that has to be good. Going to stick at it for now anyway - wouldn't like to be on it forever, but I'm not finding it too bad really. Will try get down a stone anyway and see if I can keep it off then! Just thinking I'm bound to put on half a stone on honeymoon - so I better lose it first!!!
Good luck ladies!

Hi sweetiepie!
Well I lost 3 lbs last week.
Then I broke out at the weekend and had.......a sandwich (shock horror!!! :eek )
Followed by bacon fries (4 bags) at the pub over the weekend, a glass of wine (major sin) and a bar of chocolate ( :-8 ).
Then I told myself to cop on and started back to being good yesterday.
Weighed myself this morning and I'm still down by 3 lbs so I am delighted and renewed in my efforts!
To be honest, I don't try any of the recipes on the daily instruction sheet I get.
But I stick to the principle (just my choices are prob a bit boring!)
On protein days I've been having scrambled eggs with sliced ham for breakfast. Just nat
ural yoghurt with a few teaspoons of oat bran (allowed, buy in tesco or even in local garage - it's with the baking ingredients and is very cheap). And then dinner I've been having smoked salmon and cottage cheese, or grilled turkey/lean beef with scrambled eggs.
On protein-veg days I cheat a little and use a bit of olive oil (not allowed) and do a massive stir fry with turkey breast and heaps of green veg and throw in coriander.
Try squeezing some lemon into your cottage cheese to take the yucky taste off it, or stir in some basil or some other herb.
I'd say you would get super results if you stuck strictly. I reckon if I stick to it most days and have the odd off day (such as hen weekend this weekend) that I'll still loose loads.
I know there will prob be people out there that'll say I'm loosing weight coz I'm eating less - and that is definitely true - but d'you know what I think for me it's the dicipline factor. It's nearly easier to cut out loads of things and just have a limited diet for me. I think less about it! And the plus side is I'm getting out doing a bit more exercise than I was before I started.
I only had to do 2 days Attack but I ended up doing 3 because I had fried sausages on the first day! I can genuinely say that I haven't been hungry, a little tired on some days.
If I'm peckish I have some smoked salmon or a cup of hot water with a slice of lemon in it.
I'm hoping to loose another 2-3 lbs this week. Good luck with starting!
