Elle81 wow thats a great weightloss! well done

I had lost 6 lbs before christmas and put it all back on , im trying now again, ah im kinda half on half off the wagon, im avoiding carbs and trying to eat loads of protein.

Dinner yesterday was lovely. . .

Turkey mince bolonaise/chilli con carne with carrot parsnip and brocolli mash yum!

Turkey mince, onions, garlic, tin tomatoes, some herbs and spices pepper
and carrot parsnip and brocolli mash with some white pepper and a bit of nutmeg, it was great as i really miss spuds, rice chips and pasta !

I find the season and shake bags great but i usually pu tthe veg into that im going to mash some veg mash anymore to go with things as I dont feel i would be missing out then!

Started Dukan diet today and so far so good. going to do 5-6 days on attack i'll see how i'm getting on after 5 days. So far i had an egg and turkey rashers, 2 muller light yogurts, selection of meats (ham, turkey, cajun chicken) and pickled onions.

Will proabably have a seafood platter later on and an oatbran pancake if i'm still hungry. I stocked up the fridge last night and done up a rough menu plan so i'm pretty well prepared. fingers crossed i'm down about 5 lbs by next week.

Day 4 on attack and it's going well have lost 5lbs so far i'm delighted with that. i'm probably going to do attack for the 7 days if i can. I started this on friday, so glad i done it over the weekend because if i started this mid week there's no way i'd do 7 days of attack as i'd only break out at the weekend. It's easy during the week as i take my lunch to work and i have my lunches all planned out.

Not finding it boring yet as i'm using soy sauce and other condiments to spice up dinner dishes. Made yummy garlic and chilli prawns with soya sauce for dinner on saturday with a curried natural yougurt dip.

Fingers crossed i get 8lbs off by friday.

I tried this diet 2 years ago, it was boring and not very effective for me
now I'm on diet pills and the result is much more visible

I doubt a pill will make you lose weight. Every diet pill on the market has a disclaimer which states weight loss achieved in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet. anyone who watches their calorie intake is going to lose weight diet pills are a gimmick. there is no easy way to lose weight except through excerise and watching what you eat, a pill is not going to solve anything.

I'm on day 6 now put on a pound yesterday and i'm the same weigh again today. This is going to be my last day of attack, going on PV day tomorrow. Did anyone else get stagnation during the attack phase it's annoying especially since i put on a pound and i'm drinking 1.5- 2 litres of water each day. Haven't once deviated from the plan. i was really hoping to have 6-7 pounds off by friday. i hope it can still be achieved.

I'm losing 4 kg a months with Acomplia diet pills (this is my last month on pills, I lost 12 kg since November) ... and you say diet pills do not help :) Btw I do not keep on a diet and I do not exercise as I do not have time...
What's your result per month with Dukan Diet, I wonder?

About 11 pounds in one month and average 2-3 pounds per week on the dukan diet.

Also the marketing authorisation of that drug in Europe has been suspended by the EMEA due to the fact that benefits of the drug no longer outweigh the risks. When it was licensed for use its was prescribed for use with diet and exercise. This drug has serious dangerous side effects including psychiatric side effects and depression. see link below for more details. this drug has been suspended in Ireland for a good reason by the IMB, they control what drugs are safe for the irish market place and this one is not. So please stop with the spam emails telling people about a drug that doctors in this country have been told not to prescribe anymore.

Also for you information it is clinically impossible to lose weight without calorie restriction and/or exercise. A pill is not going to burn the additional calories for you. Every diet pill on the market includes this information as a disclaimer.

Indeed Acomplia has been suspended in some countries but still there are many people around the world that use the pills and achieve great results. I don't and didn't have any side effects so it's not so bad as you think :) . Every medication may have side effects but not all people have them...
it seems I'm between the lucky ones... :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

good luck to you on your diet!

It has been suspended by the Irish medicines board (IMB) because the benefits of this product no longer outwith the risks. Advertising illegal sites where you can purchase this drug is wrong and the the IMB are trying to stop people like you advertising these sites to people.

Yes every medication has side effects but they are controlled by the relevant competent authority in each country and highly regulated, this drug is no longer regulated in Ireland so people could be getting a potentially harmful product which could have serious side effects. It is idiotic to say the least for people to buy unlicensed products on an internet site. The recipent has no idea of whether the drug has meet its required qaulity, safety and efficacy checks which is necessary for a drug to be licensed in the EU. This product has been pulled form the market by the IMB and for good reasons.

The reason that drugs are so strictly controlled is that diasters such as thalidomide will never happen again. Advertising to buy these uncontrolled drugs is dangerous and wrong and i seriously hope you consider your ethical position on this before recommending an uncontrolled drug in future.
