Thanks a mill under construction.. :) Its hard work but I have discovered I like the gym more than I thought I would so I hope I can sustain that. Just noticed that its just over 6 months till I leg it down the aisle so I have to get a wiggle going.

Think were all doing well.. :) and the encouragement here really does help me a lot so CHEERS :) O-O

That is still 3lbs down and gone!! It's hard work and well done :) get something that weighs 3lbs and when u feel how heavy it is, then it will feel more real. The fact that u have been working hard should motivate u not to want to put the lbs back on.. I know it sound like a cliche but every stone lost starts with a pound. I tell myself that at every half stone or stone I can have a treat and that motivates me.. Dunno of it works for others... We will all have our hard week but we will stick it out and get there :)

Well ladies i stayed the same this week :o( bit disappointed as i was very good. The leader said she expected me to hit at wall at some stage as i have been down each week the last 9 weeks and with only 2.5lbs to goal i am going to stuggle >:o(

But the end is in sight - i will be one year at this the end of this month and never in my wildest dreams did i think i would stick it out this time (as this is about attempt number 7) but it can be done 47lbs later i am delighted i stuck to it even the weeks where the numbers weren't in my favour

Sparklybride 3lbs is really good don't be so hard on yourself - i had times like that too, but just draw a line under this week and start afresh. Track everything you eat (my leader says "if your guessing your messing" and "if you bite it, write it") and i can tell you that's what has helped me along the way. So track, track, track and try to drink 1 - 2 litres of water each day.

Hi underconstruction, you really are an inspiration, well done to you. I joined last week and lost two pounds in my first week so hoping to add to that now for Tuesday. Heading away tomorrow night so will have to be strict on myself. I have some questions.
Firstly, its so hard to know what is in everything. I was pretty ok with the old points system but am finding the new points difficult. I find I am guessing pretty much everything, which will probably lead me to undereating or overeating. I'm just keeping away from the bad stuff as much as I can but that kinda defeats the purpose of doing weightwatchers. Also do you always eat all of your points? Do you exercise hard aswell? There's a long road ahead....

Awww 1978 thanks so much :-8 and well done on the 2lb loss.
I would be lost without my ww calculator or i have an iphone with an ap so i can calculate when out at the shops if i need to buy a sandwich etc on the go.
It is very hard when you are away as its really guess work but you still have to have a life so these weekends / nights out crop up.
Once you are good 90% of the time you are allowed to have treats etc. I will let you in on a little secret .... i don't point on a Friday and use all my 49 on drinks / dinner and probably more but i stick to my 29 points during the week Monday to Thursday (and most of the time Saturday and Sunday but dont always track as well as i should)
Ok other little secret is i don't excerise ... at all. In the 11 months its taken me to lose this weight i have done a grand total of one walk for one hour and 2 x 30 mins exercise dvd. I am just so lazy.
So the goods news is that if you are counting your points and excerising you will more then likely lose it alot quicker then me.
Have a great weekend - i suppose the only thing is to try stay away from anything that says - creamy, fried, etc and go for oven baked etc. Drinks wise if you are a wine drinker maybe try spirtzers, or stick to vodka with diet drinks / soda water etc.

Thanks very much underconstruction.
Girls, got weighed in last night and lost nothing. I am GUTTED to say the least! thought I was going to cry. i lost 2lb in the first week and this was only my second so it wasn't as if I had hit a wall already. Was very good most of the time so am pretty annoyed. I started back running too last week but that doesn't appear to have made any difference either..... oh well.... O:|

ladies can i please join ya? as ya can see i want to lose 2 stone, probably 3 stone but we'll see how these 2 go first! i joined ww last aug after having babs in june and have lost 1.5 stone so far. but the last few weeks i've been stuck, i've been up and down with 2 pound, just cant seem to get passed it, and last night i was up a pound O:| O:| O:|

getting really frustrated now and have booked a week away in august so want to look and feel great going away for that! i do know i need to track better, and i have to try fit more excercise in, serious lack of that going on at the mo! so i'm going hell for leather this week. i live in athlone but working in dublin so gonna sit down with my mam and make out our shopping list tonight and plan our meals, she joined last night too, so please god we'll have a good result next week. no take aways or drinking this week except water!

come on ladies we'll get back on the wagon!!!!! :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll

what about this..... we log on each night for a few mins at the same time to update how our day went and if we found anything that was really good or bad in points? that might help us.

If you found someone to give you that kick can you send them my direction next - i have been a diaster all week >:o(

I don't get to log on every night lcarrick but i will try get on as often as possible - my find of the week this week was in Lidl its rice and veg (cauliflower, peas, sweetcorn and peppers) in a microwaveable tub all for 8 points (and its a fine big portion) and delicious for when im in a real rush as i sometimes don't get home from work till 6pm then tea for DS and bath time etc so its really handy.

Down 1/2 lb this week - really think i work a week behind as i wasn't good this week and had been really good the week before and STS. So i will just have to reign in it now and be really good this week.

Hopefully i can do 1lb a week now and that will be me to goal a year to the week i joined. So 47.5lb down and 2 to go :o)ll :o)ll

Well done to everyone on their weight loss, and to those of us who didn't....there's always this week's weigh in.

I stayed the same last week, and I'm pretty happy with that, had been away for the weekend with DH and literally through the tracking book out the window of the car on the way down to the hotel.

Going to miss this weeks class but I am back tracking and excerising again, it'll be a tall order but I've given myself until Easter to loose a stone.
