In fairness I would eat pretty much anything but I would prefer not to see Melon, Vol-au-Vents,Turkey & Ham or the Medley of Desserts on the Menu.

you cant please everyone !!! ..

but were going for

starter choice x 2

soup choice x 2

mains choice x 2 (1 meat and one fish)
and optional
[i] (vegatarian option alsoi f applicable and hotel said will offer chicken if guests dont like meat / fish option)

dessets choice of 2

I honestly think that's plenty of choice :)

It is impossible to please everyone.

Must say I love to see Vol Vents on menu, yummy.

Hate Lamb so wouldnt like to see it on menu.

Had Baked Alaska before at a friends menu and wasnt too keen on it

We had so much fun choosing our menu we nearly had to be rolled out of hotel.
We have a choice of 3 starters, a soup, 3 main courses and 3 deserts to choose from on the day so hopefully everyone one will be happy. O-O

have been to weddings with this menu, and have eaten the food no bother, and have told bride and groom that the food was lovely, which it was, obviously would tell them it was lovely even if it wasnt! but, im so bored with, veg soup, chicken and mushroom vol au vents, turkey and ham, and profitteroles (sp) nothing wrong with the food, but its just nice to see something different

id say its very hard trying to come up with a menu that will please all ages and vegetarians etc though

people always say its nice to see something different but when you go too different you are only suiting a minority because no matter what we like to think most of us are plain enough eaters. I think if you want to go for something different have a choice of a 'normal' starter/main also. at the end of the day the two things people talk about most are the food and the music so I'd rather people talk about the food being the same old same old (but lovely) than oh so different (but didn't like it)
