Loosing 2.5 inches off waist?? can i in 9 wks?

hi ladies, just wondering, my dress is 29.5 inch waist. and right now im 32 inch waist :-8 is it possible for me to loose it in 9 wks, im going to curves and trying to eat healthy and not eat after 6pm but getting nervous now!

I am doing the couch to 5k and have found that I am mainly losing inches off my waist! Not so much from anywhere else yet and haven't lost that much actual weight, just slimmed down at waist and tummy area. A friend of mine is doing it as well as weight watchers and she said it was so frustrating not to lose weight until she realised her belly was disappearing! It is a 9 week program so maybe give it a shot? It is hard work but only 9 weeks and totally worth it! (I am only on week 4, so not even that hard yet!)

Hi Wifey, lol

It is possible, but you need to be completely focused on your eating and exercise plan.

I know the curves circuit really well and can tell you for a fact that after about 3 months, the body gets too used to the circuit and you stop progressing to the degree you need. Trust me, curves is a conveyor belt of people leaving and people joining. I would appreciate ore details about your age/current exercise plan and maybe give me a sample of your eating habits over the next three days?

Remember, muscle weighs 3.5 times heavier than fat so as you tone, you may see more weight on the scales, but your dress will fit perfectly. Lastly 95% of your success over the next nine weeks will be determined by your "clean eating". Notice I don't mention the word diet!

If specific group classes like tummy toning, spin for weight loss or Full body toning are of interest, you don't have to look too far to get started. Regards Michael. mypersonaltrainer.ie

Just had to reply and say that you can totally do this I have and I have a month left and I have lost a whopping 5 inches off my waist, I train almost everyday and have 1 cheat day a week but the real reason why I have lost the inches is what I am putting in and I totally cut out the bad stuff. Drink nothing only water cut out the fizzy drinks and eat everything brown pasta/bread/rice eat sweet potatoes and salads and avoid mayo. believe me when I say I am the worst dieter in the word and am a very emotional eater but I have done good and you can as well! :wv

Pinchingo, what sort of training are you doing?


I am in the gym so on Monday I do a Body Pump Class/Tuesday Spin/Wed Body Pump/Thurs Body Blast usually take Fridya off the gym and go for a walk all weekend a goo 5/7 k walk and really watching what I put in

Hey girls,

I think weist fat is best lost with some high protein dieting. It kind of dehydrates the body, so not recommended for long terms, but if you do some days only on proteins for a kickstart and continue with your healthy habits, there should be a great effect.
Cardio also is quite good to burn this type of fat!
