I'm writing to thank you for your help in organising my daughter Gemma's wedding reception last month. Firstly, apologies for the time it's taken me to send you this mail, I have been intending to do it since the wedding but have been pretty much run-off my feet with work since I got back as it's our 'silly season' here. As I said to you when we recently spoke by phone, we were all very impressed by the treatment we received from yourself from the first time we met you in the weeks before the event. You completely put Gemma at ease and she noticibly relaxed following that initial meeting. On the day of the reception everything was just perfect, from our arrival to departure the next day. The coffee reception on arrival was very impressive from the girl who served us to the quality of the biscuits provided and the reception room was kept remarkably clean given the amount of people who were in & out of it and it was remarkable how she managed to serve & clean up as she went about her work. The reception itself was a resounding success. The food was lovely and the service fast, friendly and efficient In fact, I must give special mention to Dominic ( I hope I've remenbered his name correctly!!) His attention to detail from the entrance of the wedding party to the clearing of the tables for the entertainment was spectacular. So much so that several guests commented on the almost military precission with which he 'ran' the whole meal. All the food was all served at once with no one left waiting to be served while others were eating and the same after each course when ALL the tables were cleared in almost unison. All-in-all we found the whole event to be a very pleasant & happy occassion and we all have very happy memories of the whole day. In fact, only on monday Gemma was talking about contacting you to discuss arranging her husband Terry's 30th birthday party there next year so don't be surprised if you receive a call from her in the near future as I've passed on your business card to her. Dear Donal, Diana and staff,
Eddie and I have been a bit slack but we wanted to thank you for all of your help, assistance and effort that went into planning and delivering our Irish wedding party on 2nd January 2010.
We, along with every guest there, had such a great time. The staff on reception, in the bar and in the function room were of most help and professional.
Diana, you went over and above your duties to assist us and to make our night memorable. We thank you very much, and especially for coming into work on a Saturday night to ensure our slideshow worked!
Donal, we appreciate the correspondence you had with Eddie Cummins (Snr) in the 'negoiating' and planning of our party.
