Temple Gate Hotel rests on the site of a 19th century Convent of Mercy with a fascinating history. Located in the centre of Ennis town, Legends Restaurant at the hotel has been awarded the AA Rosette since the hotel opened in 1996.
The history of the hotel is most evident in The Great Hall. Vaulted ceilings and oak beams combine to create the most unique and original wedding venue in the region. Stunning stained glass windows transform natural light and hand painted batiks draped from the vaulted ceilings create the perfect setting to cherish for the rest of your lives. A new addition to the hotel during 2008 was The Great hall Foyer. This room has its own private bar and is the perfect location for a private pre dinner drinks reception.
