Castle Wedding Venue

The Great Hall
The Great Hall as the name suggests is a truly magnificent venue, fully self contained with its own private reception area with a bar perfect for a drinks reception on arrival. The Great Hall is fully air-conditioned and is decorated in a rich Gold and Cream colour scheme with beautiful Louise Kennedy Crystal chandeliers. There is plenty of natural daylight and views of the leafy grounds and gardens at the front of the hotel. In the evening with the curtains drawn and the candles lit, the Great Hall transforms into a cosy atmospheric venue.

The Viking Suite
The Viking Suite is ideal for smaller weddings of up to 100 people. Fully air conditioned and beautifully decorated, the Viking Suite enjoys natural daylight and also has a private reception/lobby area ideal for those all important drinks on arrival.


Hotel Accommodation

As part of our Wedding Package, we offer The Bride and Groom a complimentary four- poster executive bedroom on the night of their wedding. Should you require any extra hotel accommodation for your guests, please contact reservations for rates and availability.

The Great Hall

The Great Hall is the ideal venue for your special day, fully air-conditioned with a plush cream and gold colour scheme, Louise Kennedy crystal chandeliers, state of the art lighting and a dramatic freeze of the Battle of Clontarf which restores the historic element of the castle. This beautifully co-ordinated room is complete with its own bar and is adjacent to the hotel lobby, a picture perfect location!


The Great Hall can cater to 100 - 400 people

Enchanted Package  

Begin your “happily ever after” in the most magical of settings. Clontarf Castle Hotel can now exclusively offer you a more intimate affair with our exceptional Enchanted Package for up to 60 guests which can be booked for either the magnificent Tower Suite or the splendid Fahrenheit Grill with evening reception to be held in the chic Indigo Lounge. Indulge in a succulent five course feast with two glasses of house wine per guest plus a glass of sparkling wine for each guest to toast the bride and groom. The package also includes a superb evening buffet to cater for all guests. Prices begin from €69.00 per person Monday to Sunday.

Fairytale Package

Fall in love all over again with our extraordinary Fairytale package. Arrive at your lavish location to be welcomed by a fabulous arrival reception with sparkling wine, freshly brewed tea and coffee. Indulge in a delicious five course meal where you will have the choice of what is being served while enjoying a glass or two of our specially sourced house red & white wine. Toast the Bride & Groom with a glass of sparkling wine with an exceptional evening buffet served once the evening entertainment begins. This package is ideal for our Great Hall or Viking suites. Prices start from €83.00 per person.

  • We had our reception here on 20/06/09 and it really was perfect. Everyone commented on the food, decor and how polite, professional and friendly all of the staff were. Adele, Jane and their teams really did provide is with the perfect day we were looking for. Only problem is that its all over too quickly, take it in Brides to be....you cant repeat it.

  • We had our reception here on 02/08/08 and we could not fault the place.The service was flawless throughout,the hotel looked amazing,the presentation and taste of the food could not be faulted.Almost every single guest commented on how fabulous the place was and were all very impressed.Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Staff are second to none!
