Belatedly, my wife and I want to express our sincere thanks to you and Joe for the wonderful music and spirit you both provided at our daughter's wedding celebration on April 2nd at the Ballinacurra House in Kinsale. It is hard to believe that two months have now passed since that magical day. We can't thank you enough for the beautiful music played both at the wedding ceremony and pre-d...inner concert in the drawing room. Tommy leading the wedding couple into the banquet room for dinner wearing a full kilt and playing the bagpipes was a treasured moment we will never forget. All of our family and guests have said how much they enjoyed your incredible music beginning with the lovely ceremony and lasting through the "hooley" and into the wee hours of the morning. The way you were able to get everyone up and dancing was absolutely inspired. Hopefully, your long drive back to Donegal the day after the ceremony was not too painful. My only regret is failing my bodhran audition with the band.

Hi Tommy, I just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding reception in An Chuirt Hotel, Gweedore on 27th August 2011. You guys were absolutely brilliant, we couldn�t have asked for better craic. All our guests have been saying how great you were and how good it was to see a band get everyone involved and up dancing. We loved how from the very start you had everyone up dancing to Black Eyed Peas before we came in, it just got everyone out of their comfort zone and from then on the dance floor was packed. Hi Tommy, You and the boys were fantastic and went down a storm with our Irish/Italian crew!!!! Everyone is still talking about the wonderful music and your ability to get everyone up and dancing - which is quite miraculous for some of the Italians! Some of Gio's relatives had never danced in their lives and danced at the wedding! He has an aunt and Uncle, married 20 years and never danced together before the 28th December! And thats exactly what I was looking for when I first contacted you. I was afraid the dancing would be one sided - the drunken Irish, but you did an amazing job of getting *everyone* involved and the Italians Loved every minute of it! The Celtic Rhythm dancers were also Amazing and Everyone was in awe as the watched them perform. A few of my friends in Ireland have decided to take up Irish dancing classes, and I have been asked to find lessons here in Italy for some of the children! All in all, I couldn't have asked for better. Gio and I, and all our guests, had a really really fantastic evening. Thanks again for your spectacular performance. Hi Lads, We cannot recommend you highly enough for a wedding or any function. From the church music which was elegant, classical and fun to the trad session before the meal the grand piping entrance to the top table finally to a floor that was filled from the first dance to the last tune played.
The Lads are very professional and have a special personal touch which made us feel at ease throughout the day which meant we had no worries about the music for the day. :-)

We just wanted to send you an email to say a really big THANKS for the music
on our wedding day (29 August 2022). We are just back from honeymoon and
have been catching up with our friends and family and they all agree with us
that the music in both the church and at the reception was really superb.
In particular, we wanted to highlight a few things that we particularly
appreciated. The music in the church was just magical - you captured both
the solemnity and the fun of the service in the music and we could not have
asked for anything more. At the evening hooley, you played a great mix of
traditional Irish music and popular covers which meant that all of our
guests felt there was something for them to dance to! We loved the way that
you interacted with the guests and ensured that the dance floor was packed
all night! We really appreciated the help with downloading the first dance
and your general organisation both before and on the day - this is a huge
help!
In short, we feel that our wedding would have been great to attend as a

I am finally writing to you to send you the biggest thank you that we can.
From start to finish you made our day so special. The music in the church was magical, setting the perfect tone for us, a relaxed and beautiful ceremony, people really felt it. The music at the reception was like having friends playing away in the corner, (very talented friends that is!!). Playing us in on the bagpipes was so much fun, we were ready for dancing already at that stage. After dinner we were not let down as the real fun began. The band was excellent, everyone was up dancing and having so much fun, I think some people even surprised themselves how much jumping around and laughing they were doing. We were so glad we had the Big Jigs for our wedding, they made our day so much fun giving us great memories, just how we wanted it and more.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the fantastic music Tommy and band supplied at are wedding. It was a fantastic day and the band, played a huge part in making it as great as it was. Hi Tommy, Just back from our Honeymoon which was fantastic, I just want to write to thank you and your band for a wonderful day and night, from the church music to the reception to the evening and DJ everything was amazing, you got the crowd going, the Ceili was great fun, I thought you would only get two rows up to interchange but there was about 10 rows all giving it socks!! Everybody said it was the greatest wedding ever, the music in the church was amazing, I was nearly in tears. Great professionals and great musicians, I�m even a You Tube star now after getting up to sing!!!!

We booked Tommy and Co. for the whole day package and we were not disappointed. Firstly as I was only having a small wedding (70 guests) I was afraid that the dance floor would look empty, not a chance in hell with this band everybody was up dancing and I mean everybody from my 85 year old granny to my 18 month old daughter. One word of warning for future Brides though, bring a pair of flat shoes because you will be dancing the night away with this band and the "Seige of Ennis" cannot be done in heels. The Church music was enchanting and I was told the drinks reception music was amazing by so many people unfortunately we missed that as we were off getting photo's done. Extremely reasonably priced for what your getting on the day and could not be more professional, they were the one thing in the run up to the wedding that I did not need to worry about. Some of our guests are actually musicians and they were totally blown away with the band, their words not mine. Great range of music from classic floor-fillers to todays hits with a great big dollop of celtic flavour added for good measure. Forget my dress, the castle, the food, the ceremony, the one thing that people are still commenting on is the Band. My one and only regret was not thanking the lads on the night as I was so busy. Please for your own sake don't think about it, just book them, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Wanted to drop you a line to say a huge thank you for the fab entertainment
at our wedding.� Everyone has been telling us how much they enjoyed the

Absolutely brilliant! Celtic Music Agency played at our wedding on Saturday 04th October 2008 - in the church, then the drinks reception, the evening reception and later DJ! We cannot recommend them highly enough. Everyone at the wedding commented on how much they loved the music in the church and later at the reception, the guys really got the crowd going and the Siege of Ennis went down a storm with our Spanish guests! Tommy is an absolute pleasure to deal with and was really helpful with suggestions for the church music. I really don't know where to start - we hired Celtic Music Agency for our wedding in August this year, and they truly were amazing. They played a huge range of music, from live trad music (even allowing my mum to join in on her piano accordion), ceili dance music (with instructions so that our guests from different parts of the world, could join in), to karaoke, the conga, with requests for cheesy music begin played and even some waltzes for the oldies... they were absolutely incredible, really helpful and could not recommend them highly enough! Lots of our wedding guests have said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and they're still talking about it now almost 6 weeks later... Thank you guys so much for being so fantastic and for being so helpful in the weeks running up to the wedding.

If your looking for a band for your wedding stop now and look no further,we got Tommy and the big jigs to play are wedding on the 25/09/08. We got married in the manor hotel Abbeliex. Tommy and the lads done the church,brought us in to the hotel,and played the wedding gig, got on stage at 9pm and got off at 2.30am,from the first minute the floor was packed and stayed like that al night,the energy from these lads is unreal, they could play any venue anywhere and pack the place,and with the price for wedding bands these days "the big jigs"are the bussiness. Tommy also got the celtic dancers for us and the hair would stand on the back of your neck "brilliant" ..............so thanks to Tommy and the big jigs for such a great day.....!

Dear Tommy, We are back from honeymoon and just thought I'd drop you an email to say thanks. The band really made our wedding. The church music was so beautiful, especially the piece that you learned for us - it made the ceremony very special. Many people have commented on how beautiful the music was and were amazed at the variety of instruments played by just two people! In the evening we appreciated your paitence for waiting for the meal to be over. We couldn't beleive how late the meal went on but you were so obliging by still playing the full set and never once complaining. The dance floor was packed all night and I couldn't sit down as I loved your choice of songs. The Siege of Ennis I particularly remember as brilliant craic! The disco was fantastic also and got all the crowd going again. When we went to bed at 5am you were still packing up so I'm sure it was a very late night for you and an early start to get the 1st boat. Thanks for making our wedding. We cannot recommend Celtic Music Agency highly enough. From the outset they were professional and really helpful. Tommy really took care of everything
for us - the music in the church, the reception and the disco. We wanted instrumental music to compliment our wedding ceremony which was all as Gaeilge and people are still talking about how amazing the music was in the
church - it really added to the occasion. I definitely recommend Barry's version of �rchnoic Chein Mhic Cainte for the Psalm, it was outstanding! Like all brides and grooms we were really worried that people couldn't get up and dance at the reception - but we had no need to worry! they played at our wedding in cavan on the 21st september 2007, and all i can say is that they were absolutley brilliant, having had them play in the church and back at the pre reception, we knew we were in for a brilliant night and what we got was amazing, the floor was absolutley packed fron start to finish and believe me it was a big floor. people who i ve never seen leave the bar before were out dancing. the atmosphere was electric as was the styles of music, something to suit everyone with their own little twist, people are still talking bout the wedding two months later. these guys are true professionals and if your considering booking them ,dont, just do it, believe me you wont be let down. so thanks lads everything. most highly recommended.hope this does you some justice, but the real justice is in listening to you, sheer class -
We just got married on the 13th October in Dunlewey, County Donegal & Drew & I just wanted to write a small note to say a MASSIVE thank you to Tommy & the boys for helping to make our wedding so much more special.
From the moment I contacted to Tommy all the way to the end he was completely professional & lovely to deal with. Even when all my plans were going wrong he listened & gave advice - above & beyond the call of duty I'd say. For us the music at our wedding
was so important, If you book The Big Jigs for your wedding you can rest assured that you will not have a single worry.
My husband is English as is all of his friends & family so we wanted to put on a bit of a traditional Irish knees up but try to avoid the cheesy band! I searched the
internet & listened to loads of musicians before choosing The Big Jigs, but as soon as I heard their CD I knew we had to book them. They looked great playing, played from the heart & sounded even better than on their promo cd - absolutely amazing!
We booked them to sing in the Chapel, for the champagne reception then piped into the reception room all the way to the end of the night. The Chapel music was just so special, Tommy then piped Drew & I into the reception in full kilt etc. which was a
roaring success with our friends & family.
We can honestly say with out a doubt that one of the main highlights of the wedding for us was looking around the dance floor during the ceili dances & seeing all of our friends & family smiling & laughing & actually dancing quite well due to all the gentle coaching
from Tommy. I don't think we have ever laughed as hard as when we had the dance off at the end of the night it was hilarious, even more hilarious was seeing the shyest of people throwing some funky shapes on the dance floor - people are still talking about it
now, what a way to end a perfect day.
Words can't say how much we loved the music Tommy, thank you so much to you & the boys for doing such an amazing job we can't recommend you highly enough to anyone who is considering choosing you. -
We got married in Coolbawn in Sept just gone, and were really looking for a couple of fun guys to play at our small (80 people) marquee wedding; rather than a band. Also we wanted an irish element to it, while at the same time we didn't want to deafen anyone that wasn't into the ceili music, so needed a mix. And lastly we wanted someone fresh & cool to do the music, that would get everyone up and dancing, and would get involved in the party themselves. We just wanted to avoid the usual five man/woman suited band that played the same 'oul stuff.
So we got Tommy and Celtic Music Agency, and it was FABULOUS! Everyone loved the band/duo, and that's the one thing that everyone comments on now. We even had a 'dance off' at one stage, with us all doing solo dances on the floor. If you think you would never do this, then think again! It was so much fun, even my brothers were up dancing which is a first. People just love getting involved in new dances that they are instructed on by the band... it is great craic, and there was loads of dances like that.
Myself and my two sisters sang karaoke to one song, and my hubby and two of his friends did another after us. Honestly it was perfect, and I would highly recommend them to everyone.
We also had Tommy for the church music, which made everything so simple and easy to organise; and it was beautiful... lots of happy tears. If you want no hassle, pure professionalism, and guys with a good pep in their step, then you gotta get Tommy and co. They are just great fun, and brilliant musicians with lots of character!

We booked Celtic Music Agency for our entire wedding
day (church, drinks reception & Hooley/DJ). They were
so fabulous that I am stuggling to put words together
that will do them justice.....they were really that
fantastic!!!!!!!!! The celtic music agency had the dance floor full all night with a good mix of different music from set dancing, traditional music, alternative music to rock'n'roll. I can not recommend them enough. If you want to have the most talented and professional Musicians you'll probably ever hear AND a wedding your guests will be talking about forever then BOOK celtic music agency. Just want to let you know that everyone at the Hammond Blessing at Glenlo Abbey on the 18 July THINKS YOU ARE WONDERFUL. Thanks so much for an evening to remember, it was great. Sam (small drummer!) is still totally overwhelmed by the fact that you let him play (even though it meant making the drums fit for a leftie!). Wishing you well, and wishing too that we get to hear you again. Thank you all so much.

We cannot recommend Celtic Music Agency highly enough. From the outset they were professional and really helpful. Tommy really took care of everything for us - the music in the church, the reception and the disco. We wanted instrumental music to compliment our wedding ceremony which was all as Gaeilge and people are still talking about how amazing the music was in the church - it really added to the occasion. I definitely recommend Barry's version of �rchnoic Chein Mhic Cainte for the Psalm, it was outstanding! Like all brides and grooms we were really worried that people wouldn't get up and dance at the reception - but we had no need to worry! The dance floor was packed all night and the music suited all tastes and ages. Celtic Music Agency will be an addition to any wedding and really make your day enjoyable!

Thanks a million for playing at the wedding, everyone said they had a great time, that the band was brillant. The music for the kids beforehand was a brillant touch. We were so glad not to have one of the usual wedding bands that play the same old stuff, and still everyone's taste was catered for, had a great night.

Where can we begin??? The Big Jigs played for us on our wedding day, and the compliments re the music have not stopped coming in! The beautiful traditional airs during our drinks reception had our guests like the paparazzi around the band! I think I can relate to all married-to-be's, in that one of
your greatest fears will be that no-one will get up to dance! Honestly � those fears can be thrown away if you get the Big Jigs! We had hardly finished our first dance and the floor was thronged � and it stayed that way until the end
of the DJ session! The fact that the lads catered for all ages, music styles and mixes, ensured everyone got to dance to '�their� music, and thus, ensured a wonderful day for all! If ever we were to renew our vows � we would work around the availability of the Big Jigs! Thanks a million � we couldn� t recommend you enough! -
I just wanted to say a very late thank you for a great gig you put on for our wedding on 24th August at the Marine Hotel. It couldn't have been any better and the comments we have had from people were that they thought it was the best wedding that they had been to, a large part of that is down to you and the band. So thanks once again and I won't hesitate to recommend you to anyone who is getting married.

Thank you very much for providing your services for our wedding day! Even though things didn't go exactly to plan everyone thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Best memories were both of you playing at the church. It made an excellent start to the day - there were actually grown men crying when Lowri was walking down the aisle and the music (She moves through the fair) made it very emotional!!!!! Also the background music when people were arriving at the church was fantastic! Then arriving Bodafon and seeing you there playing when we arrived, then being marched in with you and the bagpipes was great! Then obviously the night was good, but a lot of it was hazy! Anyway hope you had a good day, and enjoyed yourself! If I ever get married again, I'll definitely try and book you again!!! Thanks once again for making it and extra enjoyable day!

Tommy, I wanted to take the opportunity of thanking you and the lads for the excellent job you did at our wedding afters. Everybody (and I mean everybody) said how brilliant they thought the band were. As a musician myself, I'd be fairly critical of the quality of bands at most weddings I've been too with their fake keyboard sounds and limply played songs. So I was delighted to see real instruments being played (without being too folky) giving the evening heart and honesty you don't normally get at weddings. I thought there was exactly the right mix of crowd pleasers, some wonderful atmospheric numbers and the classic group dances to get everyone on the dance floor (even my mother got up and she never strays far from her whiskey glass!). Once again thank you for making our day perfect.

We had the Celtic Music Agency play at our wedding reception and they were absolutely brilliant! They had everyone up dancing all night doing everything from the Siege of Ennis to the Macarena! Would definitely recommend them.

Cannot recomment these guys highly enough. Fantastic musicians, top class musical group and very easy and professional to deal with. They played all music for my wedding in Oct 2005 from the church to champage reception to the reception night and DJ set afterwards to finish the night, and the crowd loved them. They even threw a few set dances in as well for the Irish dancing fans- overall they made my wedding experience even better.
