If I can offer you one piece of advice for your wedding, it's to BOOK GAVIN OF DREAMCATCHER PRODUCTIONS! We weren't actually going to book a videographer at all for our wedding - we were "hmmm"ing for a long time about it, feeling pretty unimpressed by anything I had seen online. And then I came across the Dreamcatcher Showreel and I was completely taken aback by the production of the sample videos. Compared to anything else I had seen, it was streets ahead. We booked Gavin, and I honestly can't recommend him enough. He is a gentleman to work with, extremely friendly and helped to put us all at ease. The video arrived last week and I've watched it about 5 times already. The attention to detail, flawless editing, mixing of our personal music choices, and just the way the whole day was captured is just breathtaking. The guest messages are a PRICELESS momento of the day, and the nostalgic moments section is perfect to show to friends who might not have time to sit through the entire 3 hours of video. I am SO happy with everything from the booking process, to the professionalism on the day, to the perfect finished product. My ONLY negative comment is that Gavin couldn't stick around until 5am... :)

I heard about Gavin through a friend of mine who had done a serious amount of research. I then checked out his website and was very impressed with the work he had done. We got married in Ballintubber Abbey and had the reception in Lisloughrey Lodge on the 16th of September 2010. Gavin was very relaxed and a pleasure to have around all morning and I barely saw him during the day but he was there in the background getting it all in. He delivers a professional service in a non formal manner which is very welcome on your special day.

My Husband Ger and I were in the same situation a year ago and picked Gavin to be there for our Wedding Day and it was one of the best decisions we made while planning our Wedding.
Gavin is just such a warm & friendly guy it was so easy having him around because it felt like a friend was doing the job for us and most of the time we were not even aware that Gavin was around because he was so discreet. His professional and caring manner from our first phone call right up to meeting him to collect our finished D.V.D's made the whole process a pleasure and we really can't say enough about him. We had such lovely comments from our guests on the day wondering who he was and he made such a great impression (some were calling him SUPER GAVIN!!) which was fantastic to hear back.
As for the D.V.D. itself, the finished article is amazing, It is so much better than we ever imagined and it was so worth it to have picked the best as every time someone new sees it, they are so impressed. We are both looking forward to friends and family getting engaged now as we will be recommending Gavin and will be so happy when they come back to us with the same reaction.

Gavin is AMAZING! The DVD is phenomenal and Gavin captured so many special moments that we would otherwise have missed. My husband-to-be was not keen on having a videographer at all but was delighted with how unobtrusive Gavin was for the whole day and is thrilled with the end result. He's showing it to everyone now (like it was his great idea!). The video diaries are priceless! Also getting to hear the speeches again was brilliant. It really makes you relive the day and is such a special keepsake of what was an amazing day.
I can't recommend him highly enough. Keep up the good work Gavin!

I know it has been almost a year but I just wanted to pass something onto you. When we got the DVD we were very pleased it was well put together and
we enjoyed laughing at ourselves. Its funny how life takes over again and the wedding is forgotten for a
while. A couple of weeks ago I managed finally to give a copy of the DVD to the parents of our fab flowergirls. They texted us to say they laughed and
cried the whole way through. A week later their youngest was called to Crumlin for a serious heart operation (they knew it was coming but thought
they had more time!). Anyway the op is over and she is recovering well, please God she will be home soon. I was delighted that they had watched the DVD recently and enjoyed it. So yesterday I took it out again and watched it with different eyes, not someone looking to see how they looked and sounded, but watching to see peoples faces, people laughing, crying and smiling. You caught everything perfectly!!!! I now appreciate it more and know that as the years pass it will mean more and more to us. Thank you for giving us something to cherish for ever. We were unsure about having a Videographer at our wedding. My husband did not want a video in his face all day. But we decided we would be sorry if we didn�t have it in years to come. We are so happy now that we booked Gavin at Dreamcatcher Productions. The minute he arrived, I knew he would fit right in. He was so unobtrusive and professional and made us feel absolutely great. It was like having one of our friend�s make a video of our wedding. Everyone really liked him. He also put together a 10 minute video of the day that was shown at the reception. What was meant to be just a �time-filler� ended up being the hit of the wedding! Everyone enjoyed seeing a recap of the preparations & church & ceremony. It was a very unique touch. We received the finished video a few days ago and I have watched it about 5 times already. It is really well done and will be great to have for years to come. If you are in any doubt about booking a Videographer, then go with Gavin. You are sure to be impressed! Anyway it was great working with ya! And thanks for a fab video. Well where to start...We both loved the whole DVD. You are a very talented man. The nostalgic moments is just fantastic its great the way you have it all put together incorporating all the highlights of the day we were both particularly moved by the ending were you have Stephen's speech over our first dance, its just magical! There were lots of tears.We loved the way you have captured all of our guests i think you have managed to include everyone of our guests and that most have been tough seeming there was about 300. Both Stephen and myself were both very impressed by the way you blended into the crowd your presence was unobtrusive and therefore you managed to capture everyone in their natural form. The guests good wishes is a lovely idea and you picked the right time of the day to do them!! very omical! Thank you again for capturing our day so wonderfully we will treasure this forever.

We can not thank Gavin and Dreamcatcher Productions enough for our fantastic DVD. We are absolutely thrilled with the final piece. The edit, quality and execution really have produced a superb wedding DVD. We honestly didn�t think a wedding DVD could be this good! Gavin was so discreet on the day we genuinely didn�t know he was even there. He�s a true professional; a magnificent guy to deal with and his after care is first class. To anyone out there that is thinking of getting a wedding video we would highly recommend this man. paudie was not keen on having one in the first place but he was really pleasantly surprised at how unobstrusive it was on the day and he is so glad I managed to change his mind. Our DVD is very special and Gavin managed to catch so many magical moments that we would have otherwise forgotten. The editing is so professionaly done and we are both so happy with the end result,our family and friends that have seen it were amased at how easy it was to watch and very unlike any wedding video they have seen.Thank you so much Gavin for being such a pleasure to deal with and giving us something we will always treasure. Our wedding day was magical! It snowed nonstop for 24 hours, carpeting everything in pure white layers. The whole land shimmered and danced as your looked at it. The way Gavin captured that day is stunning. His camera work was so creative under even with difficult weather. We truly enjoy sitting down and watching our Wedding DVD. It will give us years of wonderful memories.
