Civil Ceremonies
The Talbot Carlow Hotel has been approved as a venue to host Wedding Civil Ceremonies. We have a choice of exquisite Wedding Facilities to host your Wedding Civil Ceremony.
- Choice of facilities on site for Civil Ceremonies and Blessings
- The Talbot Touch for Civil Ceremonies includes Chair Covers & Bows, Red Carpet and Candleabra
- Florist available to co-ordinate flowers.
- Private Intimate Ceremony Rooms available to suit all sized parties'from 5 to 100 guests
- Candlelite Aisle
- Additional room for the Registrar & Groom to meet prior to the ceremony
- Congratulatory Toast for Bride & Groom of Champagne & Strawberries presented by our experienced management team after the ceremony
Civil Ceremonies approved only take place on Mondays to Fridays. The Registar does not facilitate Civil Ceremonies on Saturdays or Sundays. Our Wedding Coordinator can provide you with the name of a Solimiser who performs legal Wedding Ceremonies on Saturdays & Sundays.

Our Wedding Suite - The Leinster Suite
Our Leinster Suite is our main ballroom in the Talbot Hotel Carlow and can comfortably cater for weddings from 80 to 290 Guests. This room boasts a large in-room bar with a stage and dancing area. The room is spacious and decorated to a high 4 star standard
The Ashfield & Rossmore Suites
Small is beautiful and the Ashfield & Rossmore Suites are perfect for a more intimate wedding overlooking the rolling countryside with floor to ceiling views of the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a private intimate meal for 10 to 60 Guests and conclude your evening in Corries Bar & Bistro for live Music.
Talbot Outdoor Courtyard
This purpose built area located at the front of our hotel is ideal for photos and as a welcome and relaxation outdoor area for all guests.
