Scruffy played at our wedding last week and he was fantastic! He played a great mix of songs and had everyone on the dance floor! He created a great atmosphere and had the whole crowd involved in a hilarious dance-off by the end which was the highlight of the night. We would highly recommend Scruffy as he really knows how to get the party going!

I had scruffy play at my wedding in 2009. From the second the band finished he had everyone on the floor and kept them there til the wee hours. He even had the bridal party doing a riverdance on the stage by the end of the night. Would highly recommend him if your looking for an up to date dj who plays wide variety of music and he gets everyone up for the crack.

Scruffy played at our wedding at Roganstown Country Club in 2006. He was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, punctual, and friendly. He absolutely rocked the house! The music was chosen with our input and he made sure to check with us a number of times during the night to see if we were happy with the show. Top class- I will definately book him for my next wedding!!

Where do i start about this guy, brilliant entertainer and had the crowd going from the start of the night!!! We got married on June 4th 2011 bank holiday weekend and of course it was the same day as ireland were playing in the qualifiers. On meeting scruffy prior to the wedding taking place we have never dealt with someone so professional and easing our minds, having been let down by our first choice band he soon had me smiling within 5 mins. I thought that all the guys would go to the bar to watch the match but as soon as he started nobody left the floor. We had a dance off between the guys and the girls and aunts and uncles who i never see dance before were glued to the dance floor, he was the talk of the night and still the talk of our day!! An extra special treat he had done it was our 4 year old daughter birthday the same day and he had arranged for him and another guy to dress up as mickey and minnie as that was her favourite!!!
Thank you scruffy for the professional yet fantastic fun on our day, for the many conversations we still have about you at home and across the water for the people who had travelled. thank you for the great memories of the day and the great memories we still have now!!!! -
we had scruffy play at our wedding on the 17th of june 2011 in the radission in sligo. scruffy was unreal he had everyone on the floor for the night. he had myself and my husband do a dance off it was hilarious. everyone that was at the wedding was talking about how good scruffy was and how he plays a great mix of music to suit everyone. I really dont think i have ever seen a dj with the energy and fun factor that scruffy has, he mad our wedding so memorabile and we will never forget the fun that we had. anybody looking for a dj for there wedding would be mad not to get scruffy you wont be disapointed.

From the minute scruffy started to play he had the dancefloor packed never mind the stage! He kept the crowd going with some great music and plenty of fun & games. He had a big part to play in making our day the best ever. Would recommend scruffy to anyone who had an up coming wedding as he is guaranteed to keep the crowd entertained all night.Thanks Scruffy!

We got married on New Years Eve in Kilronan Castle and we just have to say what a day and night. The entertainment was just fab! A couple of weeks before the wedding we met with scruffy at his request and went through the playlist, he made his own enquiries as to our favourite songs/music and any special requests for guests also. He also came to the hotel hours before he was due to start and set up with the band. The band were brilliant and as soon as they finished scruffy took control and most definitely didnt disappoint. He had the floor full for the night! Everyone commented on how great he was at what he does and what a great laugh. He brought what was the best day to an absolutlely brilliant end! Thanks Scruff!

My wife and i got married in April of this year and of course it's taken up until now to finally get around to thanking everyone. Things were so hectic up until the day that we kind of just crashed afterwards and did nothing.I just wanted to let everyone know how we got on with our wedding music.
When Vanessa and i Got engaged the big question of who we would get for entertainment arose and i was prity adimant that i did not want a band. i have nothing against wedding bands and each to their own of course but we were having a small wedding and i felt that a Wedding DJ might be the best option. Thankfully Vanessa agreed with me so we started researching DJs. we Knew about Scruffy duffy from nights out in sligo but didn't realise he did weddings until we met him at a wedding fair.
We booked him for the full night straight away. After booking him we were slightly concerned because we had a large number of lets just call them older guests who would be expecting to waltz the night away and we weren't sure if scruffy would cater for these guests.
Of course we did not need to worry. scruffy met us a few weeks before the wedding and spent an hour going over the sequence of events for the evening and the songs and type of music we wanted. of course he kept a few surprises for the night and we were not dissapointed.
On the night scruffy was Brilliant. he ensured that EVERYONE was dancing. he kept the tempo of the night going and bearly stopped to take a breath for well over 4 hours. He played the Waltz, he played Some serious glam rock, classic 90's and some great modern hits. of course if your taste of music differs from our he will alter his playlists.
A huge part of any wedding is the entertainment and i can definately say that we 100% made the right decision with Scruffy. His price was VERY good and worth every cent considering the time and effort he put into our wedding. he made us feel that our wedding was unique and memorable.
Strangly enough when talking to people after the wedding the elder guests seemed to enjoy Scruffy's style of entertainment as much if not more that the younger guests.
All in all we could not have been happier with Scruffy. great night and a Great Dj!!! -

Scruffy was amazing. We chose scruffy duffy as the only entertainment for our wedding following a recommendation and we are so pleased we did. He was fabulous! It was non-stop entertainment for 4 hours with everybody dancing throughout. Scruffy played music that suited all musical tastes. Even one month after the wedding people are still talking about how good scruffy duffy was! Scruffy helped make our wedding party a wonderful night to remember. Thank You!

Anyone who needs a dj won't regret it if they dont book scruffy. he is amazing. i first saw him in sligo where i went to college, i worked in a college bar and he never ever over the four years let the students down he always played an amazing set. i always knew i wanted him to play at my wedding and even though i was in mullingar he travelled out, and i am so gratefull he did. i can whole heartedly say he made my night; he had everyone and i mean of all ages on the dancefloor all night. in the run up to the wedding my now mother in law was not keen in us not having a band which she admitted to scruff at the end of the night, but she admitted it was the best wedding music she had ever heard and she wasnt the only one everyone commented on how great he was. i dont think anyone could pull off what scruffy does- no one comes close, its his energy and his natural ability to get the room going. so if there is anyone out there wondering whether or book scruffy- the only thing i can say is you will regret it if you dont his is unreal and you will never find anyone better.

Dj Scruffy Duffy played at our wedding in the Sligo Radisson in early September and he is an absolute legend! He had the dance floor full from the beginning and got all the guests involved in a dance off which was hilarious and people are still talking about. He read the crowd great and had people out dancing I had never before seen on a dance floor. He even had the Bridal party doing Riverdance on stage at the end of the night. I cannot recommend him enough, he really made our wedding a night to be remembered

Im totally new to this forum type thing but really had to come on here and let u all know how wonderfull DJ Scruffy Duffy is... We got married 1 week ago today and let me tell you this man is the business. We had no band at our wedding and nobody would have known the difference. This man had the place rocking, from the tiny tots that attended to the older generation, he had everyone on their feet.... I didnt leave the dancefloor and either did my husband ( let me tell you he does NOT dance ) Scruffy puts on one hell of a show and he will not dissapoint - we cannot speak highly enough of this man! An absolute LEGEND!!!Just want to say a huge and sincere thank you to Scruffy for such a wonderful night, it will be one to remember.

Scruffy "rocked" our wedding last Friday night in Castle Dargan until literally the wee hours!He is a brilliant Dj who never let the crowd leave the dancefloor not that anyone wanted to anyway!Even the boys had blisters by the end of the night! He has music for all ages & the boys v's girls dance-off went down a storm, of course the girls kicked some hokey pokey ass!! Thanks a million Scruffy for a fantastic night, the feet are still on ice after it!!
