She works regularly with The RTE Concert Orchestra & The Modern Gospel Ensemble and has toured extensively in Ireland, Europe and The United Arab Emirates.
Nikki has performed at some of the country’s most prestigious venues including The National Concert Hall, The Helix & Vicar Street but still loves to sing in the intimate and very personal settings of a church. A regular face on TV, Nikki has sang backing vocals for Deborah Harry, Cilla Black and Sharon Shannon or RTE’s the late late show, recently worked on TV show ‘Class Acts’ where she was backing vocalist for the finalists and also appeared on ‘Eurosong 2008’ as backing vocalist for Marc Roberts. In 2006 Nikki was one of three singers in Ireland chosen by Simon Cowell & Louis Walsh to attend the X Factor boot camp where she got down to the last 25 out of 100,000 singers in total! You have also no doubt heard Nikki daily on the radio every day as she sings on many jingles from ‘Aurelia’ to ‘Wrights findlater Howth’ to ‘Malones of Navan’

Hi Nikki, So sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. On behalf of myself and Carl thank you from the bottom of our hearts for contributing so much to making our day so special. Every single person commented on the beautiful and amazing siniging in the church-The Prayer brought tears to one of my aunts eyes-I hadn't realised it was one of her favourties. You'll be delighted to know that the make up still looked fresh at 4.30am in the residents bar-can't say quite so much for my feet- we literally danced all night. Mark took some gorgeous photos-that show off the fab make up-as soon as I get the disk of pictures, I'll send on the best ones for your album. I would recommend Nikki for any wedding. She provided the music on the day as well as the Bridal make up. She did an absolutely amazing job on the songs and especially learnt one for me which I will be forever greatful. There was not a blemish to be seen for the day and the make up was so natural and lasted well into the night. She was great in the morning as she helped keep me calm as we talked all the way through and had a few laughs. No matter how often I contacted her prior to the big day she was always helpful and nothing was a problem. Thank you Nikki

Can not believe wedding and honeymoon are over already! It goes so quickly but had an amazing time so can't complain. No improvement needed at all as far as I'm concerned. for all brides to be out there who like me only wanted the best for your big day i can whole heartedly recommend Weddings by Nikki Kavanagh. Nikki played such huge part in my sorry "our" wedding last April from the moment i was in touch until my dancing shoes came off! I had Nikki for makeup for me my three bridesmaids and mother of the bride who has never had so many complements abhout how amazing her makeup looked! Nikki also sang at our church ceremony and blew everyone away, litterally hairs stood up on the back of my neck but a note of special mention was even our priest couldnt finish mass without acknowledging her singing in his words she put colour, warmth and emotion into our special day! we also had Nikki play at our pre-drinks reception this is highly recommended my guests genuinely who have sat, danced and sang along with Nikki all day if only the bell for dinner hadnt rang, to top everything off i also booked The Hit Connection Band which includes you guessed it Nikki, let me just simply say there have been three weddings in my family since mine and my band is the name everyone recommends i have offically been called the dancing bride as i didnt get off teh dance floor all night !! so in conclusion from my initial booking to even simple emails from Nikki when she was at my hotel for other reasons to say "was at your hotel thinking of your special day" bridal trials, advice on make up music anything at all to even giving you a hug on her way home i would have absolutley no hesitation what so ever in recommending the services of Weddings by Nikki Kavanagh" xx

I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic make up job you did for my wedding July 14th. The make up was natural looking and comfortable to wear. It lasted all day long also which was very important to me. You made myself and all the girls feel very relaxed on the morning of the wedding also. The church cermeony was absolutely beautiful. Every song I chose sounded beautiful and all the guests were commenting on how much they had enjoyed the music throughout the ceremony. Back from honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and guys for such a fantastic time. We enjoyed it immensely. The buzz on the dance floor was unbelievable!!! All I can say is that you were fantastic. We got married on the 10th October 2009 and we were so happy with the music on the day. I found myself closing my eyes on the alter and just taking in the music. It was so beautiful. I couldnt recommend you enough.

We had Nikki Kavanagh as the church singer and I couldn't recommend her enough! She sounded amazing and for most of the ceremony most people thought they were listening to a CD - she's that good - until she and Ed sang The Prayer and it was so amazing that everyone broke their necks trying to see them. I still get chills when I think of the wedding music. I came down the aisle to From this Moment by Shania Twain, it seemed appropriate to us and I really think you should choose songs that you love for your ceremony as it really makes you even more emotional. We came back down the aisle to a really upbeat song, This will be an everlasting love by Natalie Cole as I wanted everyone to leave on a high! Everybody commented on the music and we had Nikki singing at the drinks reception too.

Hi, I got married on 13th Septmber 2008 and Nikki did the make-up for me, my mam and the two bridesmaids. I cant recommend her enough, firstly she came out and did a trial run with myself. She knew exactly what i had in mind and the make-up turned out brilliant. She was great with the girls and my mam too, my 2 year old child wanted to know when his turn was, even he thought she did a great job!! The make-up looked excellent in the professional photos and it lasted the entire day/night! I tried to book Nikki for the church music too as I heard she was brilliant, unfortunately she was booked up, so if you thinking of booking her for the church, i'd get in there early!!!

Nikki sang at my wedding on 26th September 2008. She was a pleasure to deal with from the start. So helpful and professional and has the most AMAZING voice. Everybody commented on how good she was. She even got a round of applause in the church for her version of Eva Cassidy's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". She had the hairs on the back of our necks standing on end. I can't reccommend Nikki highly enough. She is a pleasure to deal with and very professional. We got married on Sept 12th 2008 and Nikki did my make up and sang at the church and we were absolutely thrilled with everything on the day. I loved my makeup and all the girls were commenting on how great it was.
The music at the church was really fantastic. Nikki's voice is amazing and and she is so helpful in choosing the songs for the day. My guests are still talking about Nikki's voice and how beautiful the music in the church was. -

From day one Nikki was extremely professional and very friendly,Nikki put us so much at ease that it was possibly the one part of the wedding that we didnt worry about. It really started the day of beautifuly and she took everyones breath away. She has the most powerful voice as the church was very big she filled it with her voice. i have to say she was fantastic ,for my trial she came into a hotel in town on the night of my hens party and made us all look amazing by the time she was finished you'd swear we all where old friends as she's such an easy going bubbly person
the morning of the wedding she just added to the excitment in my mams house ,im so glad that she was there as we all had great craic and most importantly we all looked fantastic ,i have to say i was always afraid of having someone doing make up etc and been really dry and not getting into the buzz of the day which certainly is not the case with Nikki
as for her singing she'll blow you away with her voice,all our guest's couldnt stop talking about her as she truly was amazing ,she had most of my guest's tearing up from her voice (even the male guest's)
so if you book her for your day you will not be disappointed she truly is fantastic
and i just want to say a big thank you to her
for making my ceremony so magical and my make up was amazing and still had me looking great at 6 in the morning

We got married in July 08, and Nikki did my bridesmaids make-up and sung at the church. She was very professional in doing the make-up but also great craic. Nikki did the make-up for my wedding on 24th May this year. She was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She helped me out so much, not only by just doing the make-up but I also booked my church singer & hairdresser on Nikki's recommendation. Nikki herself couldn't sing at my wedding as she was already booked but she put me in contact with Joanna Brennan who has an amazing voice and sounded beautiful in the church, then my hairdresser let me down quite late on and she recommended Lorna Davis who was absolutely brilliant.
On the morning of the wedding Nikki was superb, so professional yet completely down to earth & we all had a great laugh getting ready, she really puts you at ease. We were all thrilled with how we looked..I admit I can be quite fussy when it comes to my make-up but Nikki listens to what you are saying & gets it right. My mother had never had her make-up done before & she looked fab, she was so delighted with herself! The make-up lasted all day for everyone even after hours of dancing! Nikki did the make-up for my wedding in June 2008. She had her work cut out with five of us (me, 3 bridesmaids and mum). I can honestly say that we were all thrilled with how our make-up turned out. I booked Nikki last minute for my wedding on saturday 16th Feb just gone...my singer cancelled on me and I was in panic mode. She was a dream to deal with and a right character at that! She agreed to do my wedding that day even though she was only flying in from paris that morning with her partner and children! She sang amazingly at the church reception in Dublin, I originally booked a soprano (my mothers idea!) who suggested everything i didnt want from Ave maria to eagles wings....ARGH!!! nikki sang beautiful and appropriate songs...
Everything worked out for the best, she has the most beatiful soulful voice, my sister is gutted as she was trying to book nikki for her wedding in july but she was booked out for that day!
she then played for an hour and a half at my pre dinner reception, accompanied by a very handsome guitarist who also sang! (I think they are a couple but I am only guessing!)They performed everthing from Michael Buble to Aretha Franklin as requested by us....
All in all a great day with wonderful music, ladies do not hesitate to book Nikki!

Nikki did the make-up for my wedding on 6th October 2007. She was so professional yet very friendly and easy to deal with. I had some makeup trials with a couple of well known counters in BTs and none of them came close to Nikki. She came over to my house a week or so before the wedding and we tried out different colours and styles etc. She really puts you at ease which is what you need at such a stressful time. On the day she was so patient (we had a very full house) and so accommodating and the end result for myself and my bridesmaids was amazing. I felt a million dollars and my makeup was still perfect after a very hectic day and lots of running around. I can't thank her enough.

I was a bride on 14/09/07 and similarly I found Nikki a pleasure to deal with from the start. She has a great attitude, leaves you feeling very assured yet doesn't miss any details.
Everyone commented on how good not only my own make-up was but also my bridesmaids and both mothers! I wouldn't normally wear much makeup and she left me not only looking fab (..if I do say so myself!) but feeling fab! Will definately be using her services again on special dates in the future!
As for Nikki's singing....well she holds an audience in awe with her voice! Definately the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! Fantastic solo or accompanied!

Nikki done the singing and also the make up for my wedding.
A couple of weeks before it she came over to my house and done a make up trial, she was great. She helped me pick the perfect colors to suit me, (She also gave me some tips on looking after my skin which is always helpful). On the morning she arrived on time and was very professional. She gave herself plenty of time for doing everyone which helped cause no one was rushing around then, and I have to say we all looked amazing the makeup was flawless! As for the singing Nikki has an amazing voice she was accompanied by a spanish guitarist, we took ages to pick our songs and her gospel type soul voice just sounded super in the church, she also sang a song without any music for the offertory, everyone commented on this, it had the hairs on my back on end! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!!
