The Good Guys (www.thegoodguys.ie) are not your average, tired, cheesy-sounding wedding band.
They are renowned for their tight, slick sound, moving effortlessly from one style of music to the next, without missing a beat. Their arrangements are faithful and performed with the same driving spirit as the originals - you will instantly recognise all of your favourite songs.

The Good Guys will keep you dancing all night long - if you’re not dancing, The Good Guys aren’t happy. The band will alter their set to fit the mood of the crowd. They’ll keep the music pumping and they won’t bore you with cheesy chat. They will also give you plenty of opportunities to strut your stuff, having you perform dance-offs, Michael Jackson impersonations and air guitar competitions. Once guests start dancing, they won’t be able to stop!

You call the shots -You’ll be able to handpick from the band’s extensive list of songs for all tastes. 100% Live Performance. You might not have realised that all bands are not live! Surprisingly, there are bands out there who mime to CDs or use extensive backing tracks. The Good Guys do NOT! All of the videos on www.thegoodguys.ie showcase the band performing 100% live with nothing added or taken out. No pre-recorded studio tracks or poorly captured live footage. The Good Guys chose to film a live performance of the band using HD technology in a premium rehearsal space to afford you the very best visual and sonic quality when checking them out. All of the tracks were recorded in less than one day and in a single pass to capture the true essence of their performance. Niamh, the band’s full-time booking coordinator, is always on hand to answer questions or queries and always in a timely fashion. Niamh will discuss all aspects of music for your reception. When it comes to choosing the set, the band can help you sift through the back catalogue of tunes and steer you in the right direction. With a set made up of some of the greatest music ever written, it’s hard to go wrong.

Cocktail Reception -The Good Guys jazz duo, on double bass and piano, will serenade you and your guests as you arrive at your reception venue. For the next two hours, guests will sip champagne and mingle to the sounds of Frank Sinatra, Billie Holliday and many more. The jazz duo will create a relaxed sophisticated atmosphere for your pre-dinner reception.
4-Piece Party Band - The Good Guys offer fully-live after-dinner entertainment. No drum machines, no backing tracks. This is a wedding band like no other. They deliver a high-energy set delivered with their trademark professionalism and passion. The song list the band has created is sure to keep everyone’s feet tapping - all night long.

DJ Service - Round off the perfect day with our professional DJ. He’ll take over the reins as soon as the band finishes and keep you rocking till the early hours. His music library stretches back to the 30s, so he’ll be able to handle any request you throw at him. Hi Niamh,
Sorry I am only getting around to contacting you now.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to yourself and The Good Guys. The guys put on such a great performance at our wedding in The Glenview Hotel on Saturday 14th August. From the minute they started right up until 2am the whole dance floor was full. As we were doing our first dance, everyone was standing around us and as soon as we finished they all ran onto the floor!! All the guests are still talking about how good our band were and of course we had some fun with the DJ.

You are a talented bunch, and as you promised you had the dancefloor packed from the first dance to the last. The sound quality was brilliant, the performance was brilliant, the choice of songs was brilliant, you were brilliant... you get the picture.
Everybody is still raving about you and you have been the talking point of a fantastic day for us. So a sincere thank you for a job well done. -
Both myself and Conor would like to say a HUGE thank you to The Good Guys. We had a fantastic day topped off by a fantastic performance from the guys, i wanted them to play on and if I had my way they would have been back in the residents bar with us for the sing song!!
They were talked about by everyone and made our day, the dance floor was never empty, all in all they were superb and I would recommend them to anyone....and will of course.
We were hugly apprecetatice of them singing our 1st dance as it made it so special, much better then a CD.
Thanks again for your customer service (Niamh you were so helpful and understanding when I became very stressed!) and for the guys performance on the day, I cannot thank you enough.
