We would like to recommend Phil Voon (Give us a GOO) as a photographer for all styles of weddings. I happened to be a very unorganised and last minute kind of Bride. So Phil�s relaxed nature and adaptability really suited our style. We had a marquee style wedding which you can imagine would benefit from a dry day. We have since been told we had the wettest day for the summer of 2011. Because Phil had scouted the venue prior to the day, he had looked at options for all types of weather and had some clever idea�s to make the most of a very wet day. I had asked for lots of action shots of people socialising and enjoying themselves rather than posed shots. When it came to the bridal party photo�s, we had so much fun taking our photo�s and the smiles and laughter are 100% genuine. I have been to wedding�s where the photography can be a very strenuous and long part of the day, but we had a completely different experience. We have great photo�s that are original and truly capture the quintessence of our day. Phil is great at putting people at ease and whatever type of picture you ask him for he delivered upon. I have had so many people comment on how nice Phil was and how amazing the photo�s are. I would have no doubt recommending him to my friends as a photographer for their special day.

We booked Phil for our wedding on November 28th 2009 and are delighted we did! From our initial meeting with him right through to sending our album to print, he couldnt have been nicer. He is a genuinely lovely person who loves what he does. His enthusiasm and professionalism are second to none. He was brilliant with our whole wedding party including my 2 young nieces. From the moment I started researching wedding photographers for our upcoming wedding in July 2010 I knew that Phil's photographic style was what we were looking for - relaxed, comfortable, happy couples and guests smiled back at us from all his pictures not the usual contrived awkward poses usually associated with wedding photography.
As soon as we contacted Phil his professionalism and enthusiasm shone through and within a few days we met to discuss availability, location and pricing. Our meeting was very constructive and we decided to book Phil as our photographer there and then. Within two hours of our meeting Phil had emailed me the contract, bridal party plan and account statement.... again a testament to his punctuality and dedication.
I would have no qualms in recommending Phil to any other couples looking for a wedding photographer. Phil has been a pleasure to deal with from the inital point of contact and has unwavering dedication and zeal for his work. -

Phil checked out the venue beforehand and had great suggestions as to where and how to take some of the shots. We were impressed with Phil from the moment we saw his portfolio. He helped us find a package to suit our needs and responds to questions and all emails promptly.
We feel the pictures are a great documentary of our wedding day and were thrilled that he and his assistant managed to capture so many moments that we actually didn�t actually see ourselves. Even the posed family pictures have tons of personality.

When keith and i decided to get married, and started in the preparations, we knew that the photographs were the most important thing of all, the wedding only lasts a day but the photographs will last a life time. From the first contact with Phil we both knew he was what we were looking for, he came to our house for a meeting and accomodated us with an evening appointment, he came across as friendly, fun and reliable, we booked him straight away! In the run up to the wedding he was in contact to make sure we knew what kind of photographs we wanted formal or informal, he had a form for us to fill in with the names of all the wedding party, the photos that were most important to us etc, the form was very handy, saving us lots of time in the preparations.
On the day phil arrived on time, he was again friendly making the wedding party very comfortable and i no time they had forgotten he was there, allowing him to get on with the job and us to get on with the fun!
The day went off without a hicth, everything we had asked for in the photographs was done, no questions asked, phil knew exactly what he was doing and didnt need to bother us at all, we had our wedding ceremony and reception all in the same venue, and one of our fears was that the photos may all get a bit boring with the same place,we are glad to say that phil that did not happen, phil had obviously done his homework and had checked out the venue and grounds, because there are so many different backdrops in the photographs you would never think we were in the same place all day!
Phil photographed our guestsas they sat in the sunshine and because of his friendly nature, they all knew him by name and many of my guests commented on how nice the photographer was, a few have even asked for his details since for thier own weddings!!
We have two children and Phil was fantastic with them, he made them such a part of the photographs and he even allowed our 6 year old use his camera, she even took photos, this kept her out of mischief while we got some photos of just the 2 of us!
Phil stayed well into the evening and took the opportunity to photograph us outside at sunset, the photo turned out to be amazing!
When we got back from our honeymoon, which was only 10 days, there was an email waiting with the link to our photos online, there were so many and i think he may have photographed everyone of our guests!
In all Phil really helped to make our day, being so prepared, professional, reliable, blending into the background and also having the personality that people notice him! I would highly reccomend him to anyone
Oh and the photographs are fantastic too! We have fabulous photographs that we can treasure forever.

From the moment we met Phil we knew he was the photographer for our special day. He is one of the most charismatic, relaxed, patient and genuine people that we have come to know. Phil has the most amazing talent and this is very evident in his portfolio and just take a look at his website. He is so enthusiastic about his art yet, extremely humble. He gave us advice and made our time with him all about "us." He allowed us to make informed choices about the style of photography we wanted. We were so impressed by him. Phil is an awesome photographer. I had the pleasure of his services on
September 11th 2009 on the occasion of my wedding. I am totally thrilled with
the photographs. He captured the mood of the occasion perfectly. The
reportage style shots were what really impressed me. He shot people in very
natural poses; it is obvious that they didn�t even know he was there! There are
great close up shots of many of my family and friends, and their expressions
at different moments during the ceremony are great to see. I was so caught
up with the excitement and nervousness of the day that it is so fantastic to see
everyone enjoying the day. My wedding day was the quickest day of my life
but now I have over 600 fantastic photographs to remember it by! Phil is really
easy-going and very professional. He didn�t make me feel awkward or selfconscious

We used Phil Voon as our photographer on our Wedding Day. We were thrilled with our Wedding Album and I couldn't have asked for more. Phil is a modern, artistic yet timeless photographer. He worked so well with all our family and friends on the day and we felt that really showed in our pictures. My husband has alot of nephews and nieces and Phil brought out the best in the kids, really capturing each moment. Both myself and my husband are quite camera shy but most of the time we didnt know Phil was there, we were able to completely relax and he makes you feel really at ease, giving you great direction on what to do. The wedding album he created for us isnt just a book of family group shots, but each photo tells a story of our special day, and is a snapshot of a precious memory.
