I am a lover of Italian food, all things white, lemon sorbet, my boyfriend and all people in love. I am fun, quirky and emotional, I am a dreamer and an ever romantic.
I love my job because I am able to capture the important moments, genuine laughs, fragile beauty, the pride of the bride?s father, tears of happiness, and all the emotions, together with all the gorgeous details of your wedding day.
I am a love photographer and I document your love, your day and your story so after your memories fade away, you can pull out your wedding album (or disc) from the drawer and relive the best day in your life over and over again.

Sona took the pictures for our wedding in October. Despite it being the day of the awful floods in Dublin, she did an outstanding job even though outdoor shots were not possible. Sona didn�t feel like an �outsider� at all on our wedding day, at times we weren�t even aware of her presence; she simply blended into the background making sure to get those natural shots that capture the essence of the day.
Whilst we were getting ready, she was invaluable, not only as a photographer, but she went above and beyond what was required to help in every way; helping our son put on his shoes, entertaining him and doing little last minute jobs. It was like having a fairy godmother!All of our guests commented on her lovely manner, not at all pushy yet getting the job done in quick, relaxing time so that we could spend more time with our guests.The photos themselves are sensational. Sona has a fabulous eye for detail, an unusual style and each picture is perfect. We are so delighted to have them and they really capture the moments of the day beautifully. You can feel the atmosphere looking at the pictures.We are so glad that Sona took our pictures and I would highly recommend anybody who wants something a little bit different to take a look. Myself and my husband Stuart chose Sona aka Lila from Lilas Photography to be our wedding photographer. We actually had entered a competition to win a wedding photographer and although we didnt win we felt an instant connection with Sona and we trusted her from the first time to spoke to her. We soon arranged an engagement shoot-as Sona highly reccomends this not only to get some fab photos but also to get to know her and to feel more comfortable infront of the camera before the big day! We had so much fun shooting this in Mount Usher Gardens in Ashford, we brought along out son Harry and we had a little picnic and the photographs turned out amazing. On our wedding day Sona came to my mums house in the morning while we were all getting ready and she stayed with us for the whole day in Ballybeg House in Aughrim up until the cutting of the cake. It was exactly the way we wanted it, although we knew Sona was there snapping away it certainly felt very natural and it really shows in the pictures. We just received our pictures this week-two beautiful discs with pictures printed on the discs in a gorgeous case. Sona gave us the full res pics for printing and also lower res pics to for using online-if we wanted to send to anyone or upload to facebook etc.. We could not be happier overall having chosen Sona as our photographer. Not only is she a very talented photographer but shes also a really lovely kind person and it makes a huge difference on your wedding day when you have someone you like and feel comfortable around for something so personal.

Lila did our wedding in August, on a typical irish rainy Summer's day. She spent so much time on the finer details, and the results were FANTASTIC. Original, modern photography, supplied by a quiet, relaxed, kind person, I wouldn't hesitate to book Lila as a wedding/lifestyle photographer.

After 8 years and 3 babies we finally decided to have a wedding, ours. John's family is back in Ireland and mine in Australia and his father can't travel due to a stroke so getting married was always in the too hard basket, after another health scare last year I finally agreed to have the actually wedding o/s whilst having a party back in Aus. To add to the difficulty of planning a wedding we decided to do it all from the other side of the world as a surprise before we got home for our holiday. We did a heap of googling, and late night calling until we can upon Sona from Lilas Photography. We booked and everything online, and a week before our big day we called to meet and discuss in more detail our plan. Well we can't speak highly enough of Sona. She was great, easy to work with and let our day be ours not some pushy photographers job. Photos were great and just us, silly and up for anything! Thanx again Sona

We found Lila's by coincidence - knowing somebody who knew somebody... We were quite lucky, as it turned out; it was great how much time she took to discuss and come up with ideas for the shots, and we couldn't be happier with the lovely photos. We feel the engagement shoot as well as the wedding photos themselves really show us, as well as Lila's great eye for detail. The photos are a great memento of a beautiful day.

We recently had an engagement shoot done with Sona and found her absolutely fantastic to deal with. From our very first point of contact she has been nothing but helpful with any query we had and open to any suggestions we have made. The experience was really relaxed and the time flew by.An added bonus was the speed in which we received the finished photos. All in all, 2 weeks from the time of the shoot to the disc coming in the door, all ready for print / email etc. Sona has a great eye for detail and to be honest most of the photos that she took we never even noticed and nothing felt staged. I am so confident and relaxed about the way she takes pictures that I simply cannot wait for my wedding day knowing that the precious moments of the day will be captured with Sona behind the lens!

Lila (Sona) took our photo�s for our engagement shoot. She has a great natural eye for beauty, colour and bringing out the most of her clients. We were nervous and tired after travelling from Spain, but she put us at ease right away, even my fianc� (anti photo�s!) is looking forward to being snapped at our wedding in August!
