The Brat Pack

Supplier Details

The Brat Pack, Tony and Stephen Carter and Cormac McAllister have taken swing music back to the hearts of the people of Ireland. Singing the songs they were born to sing, the Dublin Trio bring their own twist to classics from Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr as well as more modern and contemporary tracks from Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jnr.

They also cover music from almost every genre of music, a sample listing is available in the bookings section of the website, and guarantee to keep you and your guests entertained no matter what the event!

For a time, The Carter Twins were Ireland's new pop sensations. They were hotly tipped to be the next big pop sensation to come from the Louis Walsh stable of music. In their heyday, they shared stages with Boyzone, and The All Saints to name but a few. Identical twins Stephen and Tony, from the Northside of Dublin, started out in the pop world in 1996 when the aforesaid Louis Walsh came to see the twins perform in the POD on Harcourt Street in Dublin. Louis was so impressed when he heard them sing that he immediately put the wheels in motion to tie up a deal that would see him manage The Carter Twins. That very same year, they won the coveted best newcomer award at the Smash Hits Awards in the UK and immediately embarked on a UK arena tour supporting Boyzone. The buzz within the music industry was immediate.

They released the debut single, a cover of the Donny Osmond classic The Twelfth of Never in February 1997 and entered the charts in the top ten. Another hit followed, with Love Changes Everything charting as high as number five, all this happening as they continued their tour with Boyzone throughout the UK and on into Europe. Their Debut album, Number 1 was released in late 1997, coinciding with their acting debut in Mother Goose, the Gaiety Theatre Pantomime, which at the time was the fastest selling panto ever. Such was the success of Mother Goose, the twins were asked to return in 1998, and stared in Cinderella. In 1999 Stephen and Tony parted company with Louis Walsh, and the pop dream was over.

Roll forward 10 years. With their heart and soul still in music, along with lifelong friend Cormac McAllister, a singer and compere in Dublin for over 10 years, they formed a new band, The Brat Pack. Singing the music they love, the Dublin trio started cover some of the classics from Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jnr as well as Michael Buble, Tony Bennett and Bobby Darin. The show is a kick back to the old days of Sinatra and Co. but, with their swing twist on some modern songs, it is a lively and very entertaining show. When The Pack hit town, everyone comes out to play!

Testimonials

  • Hi Amanda,

Could you please pass on our thanks to the guys in The Brat Pack. They made the planning of our big day so easy! We requested some songs that we thought might be an issue, but it didnt cause them a thought! Their set on the night was brilliant and they had the dance floor full for the whole night! I would say they will be getting lots of enquiries from the guests at our wedding who were all highly impressed!!

  • Hi Amanda,

The Brat Pack recently performed at our wedding in The Grand Hotel in Malahide, and I just wanted to say thank you! They really made our day special. Any request we had for them they were happy to answer and help us with. The wedding night itself was brilliant, their choice of music and how they mix up the swing with some Michael Buble, pop music and even The Beatles for my Mam and Dad made them the talk of the day! Please pass on our thanks to the guys!

  • The Brat Pack What a wonderful group of guys!

I was at two functions recently that they played at, and they were superb. I would certainly recommend them to any person or persons. The lads are a credit to themselves. The fun at both functions was there for all to be seen. Many thanks lads for a super, super couple of nights!

  • We were the agents and promoters for two recent gigs for The Brat Pack, one in Crawdaddy and one in The Sugar Club, and they were professional, reliable and a very likeable group of lads to work with. Both nights were a massive success, and the ability that they have to read the room, and change the style and genre of music, just at the right time is what separates The Brat Pack from most other bands out there at the moment. I would highly recommend The Brat Pack to anyone that is looking for a professional band, who have been there and done that, but still have the hunger to make sure the gig they do for you, is the best gig they have ever done.

  • We recently booked The Brat Pack for our 20th birthday celebration. From the moment we made contact with them, they were extremely friendly and easy to work with. Any specific songs that we requested, they were more than happy to facilitate us with. They sang the classic swing tracks whilst we finished our meal, before getting the dance floor packed for the rest of the night with some rock, and pop before finishing off with the up-tempo Michael Buble and Rat Pack music. I cannot recommend these guys enough! They will make your night really really special.

  • The Brat Pack have performed on numerous occasions for us at The Naas Court Hotel, and quite frankly, the reason we keep rebooking them is because they know what they are doing. When they finish, we get the same questions every time. When are they back..... etc...! I would highly recommend them to any person, for a wedding, corporate gig or festival, if they are looking for a great band, who can read their audience, have some fun and keep your guests entertained throughout the night.

  • We had The Brat Pack perform at the Irish Autism Action Ball in The K Club. They totally made the night! They did a great mix of music from swing to some pop and even a bit of old time rock and roll!! I would recommend the lads for any event that you are putting on. They are very professional and they had the crowd in the palms of their hands. We will be booking The Brat Pack again, I will be personally recommending them to any of my friends in the entertainment business. They are a class act.
