Barbara Duffy is a professional make-up artist with over ten years experience in the industry. Barbara specialise in bridal make-up and fashion/editorial make-up. Every bride should look as amazing as she feels on her special day. Barbara is based in Dundalk Co. Louth but works all over North East Leinster and Dublin.

Barbara studied I.T.E.C. Fashion, Theatre & Media Make-up in The Portobello School, Dublin. She started out on her career working at Brown Thomas in Dublin for the cosmetic giants Estee Lauder. Since then Barbara has worked in the main Theatre’s in Dublin such as The Gaiety, The Abbey and The Olympia on opera productions and stage plays. Notably she has worked in RTE for over four years and her experience also extends to many fashion shoots and several films.

Barbara’s wide and varied career has honed and perfected her skills. Working in different areas of make-up has meant that she has worked with many skin types and ethnicities and with different make-up processes whether that’s High Definition make-up for TV and film, theatrical make up for the course line for an opera or enhancing the natural beauty for a bride-to-be.

• Barbara was the make up artist for my wedding, I cannot speak highly enough about her. Everybride want to look amazing on her wedding day and Barbara certainly helped me achieve that. From our first meeting for my make up trial Barbara understood exactly the look I wanted to achieve. On the day itself, it was fantastic that Barbara did my makeup at home. Barbara has such a vast array of excellent well known brand name makeup. My makeup was flawless and lasted throughout the whole day with no reapplication required. Since my wedding Barbara has done my make up countless times at home for special occasions such as family events and also for just going for a night on the town with the girls. Barbara is a true professional and alway on trend with her make up. You definitely will not be disappointed.

• Barbara, was the make up artist for my wedding last March. After getting everything right first time at my trial I was confident that Barbara was the right choice for my big day. I could not have asked for more, Barbra did a fantastic job with the whole bridal party really understanding what worked for everyone, including two make-up adverse Mums. Barbara is a totaly professional and keeps totally calm despite the drama of a wedding morning unfolding around her. I would hightly recommend her.

• Barbara did the makeup for me my bridesmaids and my Mum for my wedding day. She was amazing extremely professional and really made us feel relaxed on the morning. We had our trials and knew exactly what we wanted which lead to no last minute panics on the morning. Many of my friends have since used Barbara for there wedding and were delighted with her service.
