Ballynatray Estate offers one of Ireland's most beautiful and romantic venues for exclusive, intimate Irish weddings including civil ceremonies and partnerships, promising complete privacy in a unique and tranquil setting.

The House and consecrated grounds of Molana Abbey situated on the Estate, are ideal for couples wishing to make their vows in a highly personalised setting. The area resonates with spirituality, great natural beauty and ancient history, offering breathtaking views over the Blackwater river - a remarkable backdrop to a day that will be a lasting memory for you and your guests alike.

At Ballynatray every wedding is unique and the staff work with each couple individually on planning their special day.

The Georgian house becomes your Irish wedding castle and together with the self-catering cottages accommodates 31 guests so your family and friends can surround you on your special day.

The house is fully staffed and organic food is sourced and provided from the Estate where possible - e.g. Beef, Venison, Duck, Lamb, Pheasant, Salmon, Vegetables, Fruits etc

The formal dining room is ideal for a candlelit formal or informal family dinner the night before the wedding.

The House can cater for up to 90-130 guests or alternatively a marquee catering for 150 guests can be situated on the terrace of the House. A marquee on the lawn overlooking the Blackwater river, can cater for guests of any number.

After the wedding banquet guests can enjoy a fireworks display over the Blackwater river.

The day after the wedding residents and guests can enjoy a barbeque or buffet lunch and all the facilities of the Estate - shooting, simulated clay pigeon shooting, boating, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, tennis, archery, croquet ,swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, gymnasium, massage room, snooker.

We highly recommend the simulated clay pigeon shooting for everyone as it offers the same excitement, fun and spectacle as driven shoots but using clays to replicate birds, sent out randomly over the picturesque Ballynatray landscape, at varying heights and speeds.

Ballynatray Estate can also provide a picnic hamper to take with you on your walks around the beautiful grounds.
