Who is St. Michael’s House?

Founded in 1955 by parents, St. Michael’s House has grown to be�come Ireland’s largest provider of community-based services for

Children and adults with an intellectual disability and their families.

Today, St. Michael’s House has over 170, providing supports and services to over 1,700 children and adults. St. Michael’s House services include:

• Clinical

• Early Learning

• Educational & Vocational Training

• Employment

• Residential

• Respite

• Alzheimer’s supports

•Social & Recreational

The last two years have been challenging times for St. Michael’s House with significant cuts to our funding. Without support like this, it would not be possible for us to continue to respond to all new baby referrals where, on average, we receive seven new referrals a month from maternity and children’s hospitals.
