DrycleanIT are launching their new Nationwide Bridal Gown Cleaning Service this week on WeddingsOnline.ie! To celebrate, we have a great (and very practical) prize to give to one lucky Wollie.

One lucky winner will have their wedding dress collected by our courier, cleaned and boxed in the DrycleanIT Preservation Box and returned by courier!

{A bit about the new DrycleanIT Service}

Brides anywhere in Ireland can now have their wedding dress collected by our courier either from home or even directly from the wedding venue and delivered back to her home cleaned and boxed for when she returns from her honeymoon.

Our Bridal Gown Cleaning Manager will contact you at four stages throughout the process:

1. At the initial enquiry to discuss the process and address any queries you may have.
2. At the inspection process when your dress arrives and is being booked in
3. After the cleaning process and prior to storing in our preservation box
4. Finally to Arrange delivery

Each Preservation Box contains:

Tags and ribbons
Shoes and accessories box
Acid-free certificate envelope
Acid-free archive tissue paper
A collection of record sheets and charts

This would have been a great present. I'm married over 6 months and still haven't got round to getting my dress cleaned. Fab idea.

I think this would be a great gift as I'm married over a year and still haven't got my dress dry cleaned but if I'd received a voucher for it I would have had it cleaned long ago.

Yes this would be a wonderful and very useful present as it can be expensive to get the dress dry cleaned and the thought of it being preserved with such care is fantastic as it is a gift from my mother i want to keep it safe for many years after the wedding

I think this is a fantastic idea for a present but one that you probably won't think of or realise the value of till you are married yourself. My dress is at home now badly in need of this TLC but the budget isn't there for it at the minute.

That is a great idea, as 99% of brides will get their dresses cleaned and if you have a voucher you would get it done sooner rather than later...which would help get all the stains out!!
Great idea...maybe your company could do a log to make sure a bride doesn't get a few vouchers!!

i would have loved to recieve this as a present, my wedding was over a year ago and i still dont have my dress cleaned!!! im terrible for putting things on the long finger, a present like this would give you the push you need to get the dress cleaned, great idea :-)

This is a wonderful idea, so many people forget about what to do with their dress after the wedding. I have heard one or two stories about dresses being rolled into a ball and thrown in the bottom of the wardrobe, sometimes in a black plastic bag. I would love to win this prize and a as a posssible gift one word fantastic!

I would LOVE to have received that as a gift, its a really useful present, and I for one totally forgot to budget for wedding dress cleaning so it was put on the long finger and dress is up in the attic since the wedding 6 months ago!! have 3 weddings coming up next year and will definatley consider this as a possible gift

I think this is an amazing idea.
My wedding dress has been hanging in the spare room wardrobe since we got married 6 months ago and I would have been delighted for someone to have given me a gift of this.

If I were to win this, and was impressed, I would consider buying this as a gift for the 9 weddings I have coming up in the next 2 years!!

wow what a great idea, went in search of my mothers dress when I got engaged, it didn't survive in the attic, 26 years in a box such a shame, would of been an ideal vintage dress. So I would something like this, just invade my daughter would want to wear my dress.

A lovely idea for a bride, would save a lot of time and effort when the big day is all over and mean the dress didnt live for a year (or in my sisters case 13 years!) a carrier bag :)

This service is a great idea and a gift voucher would be a fantastic idea as I was just looking into it and didn't know where to start - the only thing I would suggest is that the company ask the purchaser the date/couples name to ensure that they only receive one voucher. Fantastic service

I think any wedding present is a nice present! Especially now with everyone feeling the pinch but it's great to get presents that are practical, my wedding dress is still hanging up waiting for a bit of attention again so I would love to get a voucher that allowed me to have my beautiful dress restored to its former glory!

This service sounds amazing. A service that specializes in collecting cleaning and returning your dress perfect again. I dunno how many brides get around to leaving in their dresses never mind collecting them within a short time of their wedding. I'm married 2 weeks today and the thoughts of bundling up the dress finding parking near drycleaners is not appealing to me at all. Please consider me for this prize.

This is a fab idea and would make a lovely gift for any bride. My wedding dress is the most important element of my wedding and one of the few items that will be kept. If we are lucky enough to have a little girl it would be wonderful to be able to take the dress out for her to see. My mum kept hers and it was very special to be able to see it.

Wow. This is the best wedding gift I've ever heard of. So many of my friends have left their dresses hanging in plastic for so long that they wonder if it's worth having them dry-cleaned, but it's something that is so important so that the dress can be used or even displayed again. If a bride had this as a gift, she would not postpone the task. I think it's something that would also appeal to grooms, who often leave their wedding suits in similar condition.

I personally would love it but don't think it's a great "wedding" gift as there is no benefit to the groom. It could make a really nice gift from the bridesmaid or a hen party gift but it is the mans day to.

I think this would be a fantastic idea for a wedding gift - I sure as hell one appreciate if I had got one now as my dress is still in it's cover with the shoes etc at the bottom of the bag. I'm dreading the cost of getting it cleaned but I'll want to preserve it to have it in good condition for years to come! :o)
