The latest Central Statistics Office (CSO) stats have shown that the 'Mrs' is officially 'in'. Marriage is up 10% on 2006 according to the 2011 figures, with over 1.7 million people in Ireland currently wed. And as if our proverbial 'clocks' weren't already aware, from the age of 32 the number of married women in Ireland outnumber the number of single women (34 for men).
The study, reported by The Journal, notes that remarriages have also seen a significant increase of 550% from 2006-2011.
