Im setting up this thread for all us HP brides to discuss our upcoming weddings and any past HP brides to offer any helpful advice or insights....

I've booked Harvey's Point for next year, just wondering what other brides are doing or have done in the past for their photos? As mine is a summer wedding I'm hoping it will be a nice day weather wise, the lake is a beautiful setting for pics but I was thinking about stopping off for some beach pics too on way from church....anyone else have same idea?

Stopping off for photos is defo what i plan on doing. The church is 40 mins from HP so lots of opportunities to do it!!!

Have you picked your band?? Are you in the gourmet suite?

Cool! Have you actually heard them play? I just got a CD with some demos and I thought they sounded fab, really lookin forward to having the 5 piece! :o)ll

yeah heard them at a wedding fair last year! they also played at my christmas dinner and were brilliant!

Dees girl, your getting so near to your big day, im not until 2011!! Are you having any little extras or anything like that?

Im having the Brian McDermott Band... are any of you having some pre reception music?

i am having around 120 people at the wedding. we actually won our reception so we are so lucky!!

Hi dglbride, don't know yet about pre reception drinks, I think we might just stick to tea and coffee with biscuits, def not having reception food thats for sure because I don't want guests ruining their appetite before the feast LOL! what are your plans?
