Harveys Point Brides!!!

Quite regularly because I had lots of questions but I think I'm questioned out for now! What about you? Are you guys having an entrance song into room for dinner?

Also do the hotel do a table plan for day of wedding or do we do that?

I'm making my own menu cards, just to match theme really!

Hi Rack,

The hotel send you a table plan a few weeks before the wedding. You just fill that in and send it back and they will make the table plan for you!

Just ordered the invitations last week, and did the pre-nup enquiry. We are doing our pre-marriage course next month.....everything falling nicely into place!

Have you much left to do dglbride? I haven't tried any haggling yet! I haven't even spoken to hotel (regarding the wedding) since we booked. Have they been in touch with you about your menu and wine choices etc? I am just going to wait now for them to get in touch with me.

We are trying to book a videographer at the minute and cars. We have left it quite late. Initially I really didn't want a video, thought I would find it very intrusive and I really hate going to weddings where there is a camera in your face all day.....but I think I'll regret it if we don't have one, who have you all booked?

Also who have you all booked for your cars? A family friend was originally going to supply our cars, but circumstances have changed and I think we may need to book some now. We got a crazy quote yesterday for 3 mercs (not even new model) and that was £850 sterling :ooh

Is this the norm?

I booked Cathal from Benburb Video Productions and our cars are coming from Gerard McGirr, however we are getting two traditional cars, not sure if he has mercs. It wasnt near 850, but we are having only 2 cars.

Did you see the new packages? Are you going for one of them or sticking to the ones when you booked? I think we are going for the new packages.

The only thing I might do is bring Rose wine with me for dinner as a lot of my friends drink that, and its 4 euro more expensive than red and white in HP.

I'm not going to make it up to the wedding fair this weekend which is rubbish as want to nail a photographer :o)ll

Hi, Congrats on booking the venue, as everyone I am sure is telling you, the time really does fly by, can't believe I've whittled my time down to 5 months!! Anyway, I have booked Ken McBride to do our photographs, his work is lovely and we are having our pre wedding shoot in May (Part of package). We went to his workshop in Enniskillen and he was really lovely to deal with.

Rack thank you so much for your photographer details I just looked at Ken McBride's work and I'm really impressed. Will contact him and see what his availability is like.
