It's Stunning shorti! Is it one big stone or a number of stones clustered together? It's very similar to mine actually. I got my wedding band this week and I went for a diamond band (that's why I was asking ;o)

Has anybody else had strang feedback about their ring?

My family LOVE my ring also and so do most of my friend. I can tell you here as this is anom..
But I have 3 .30 carat D diamonds on a yellow gold back with diamonds down the side.
Now I do not expect everyone o love it. And I never tell the grade of the diamond.

But I have had some kind weird responses from friends. Such as:
Are you happy with it?
It's so small.

Etc. now I don't expect everyone to love it as much as I do, but would you not lie?

OMG, I cannot believe that! I would NEVER make a comment like that to anyone.
Everyone has a different taste and the ring you like is not to someone elses taste.
I love mine and had only great comments about it but I know that it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

As Blossom Cherry said, just ignore comments like that. They obviously don't know anything about diamonds anyway. It's not the size that matters anyway.
The most important thing is that you love your ring.

Yup, I had one person look at it with a scrunched up face who asked "And are you HAPPY with his choice?", I simply replied "Yes, of course, sure he has great taste, isn't he with me?" :o0
