I went for 26 & 30, 2 of each. Its funny, I couldnt find a single purple dress over the whole of 2011 and now they are the 'in' colours and are EVERYWHERE!

I didnt have time to get swatches (should have asked on WOL it seems!!) so just picked from the pictures. The dresses that arrived look exactly the same.

Im so happy for you that they worked out, onice I get the swatches off another wollie I'll know what colour to go for, just on my computter, some of the colours seem very similar!! Soo glad I have the dresses sorted now, big relief off my shoulders, just cant wait to get them ordered!!!

Just so you know, there are loads of colours but for any given dress there a plenty of colours that you can't get it in.

I went through all the swatches and wrote down the ones I liked, then checked which of those were available for the dress and this really helped me narrow it down because a good few of the purples just weren't available.

Came back to update this. One of my dresses hadn't be made to the spec I sent. It was still beautifully made but they had made it standard size so my bm couldnt get it over her thighs. We only have 4 weeks left so a bit of a panic. Bridaldreamdress have been fantastic so far. They responded promptly to every email I sent and said they would replace the dress if it in fact is not the size I requested. Otherwise they also offered to make it (and charge me) and get it to me quick, tailor it for free and get it back or send me a large piece of material for free to remake the skirt. I have sent it back as it was not the size I ordered and I am assuming they will replace for free. They have promised to get it turned around and sent out within 10 days so that is quite impressive service. I am totally happy with them still but will let you know if anything goes wrong with the new dress!

To answer your Q Omega, it usually takes 8 weeks from order to delivery. Mine arrived exactly on time. There were no hidden fees. This was the only site I came across that included delivery in the price and it truely was. I didnt get any customs fees so that must have been included too.

Hi thanks for all the posts in relation to this site, bridaldreamdress.com. I was delighted to hear such good reviews and ordered my bridesmaid dresses from them last week. But at the purchase stage I was told they would email me a link to a secure online payment site. They did email me with a link to a website called aliexpress.com but it was a very unusual method of payment. Has anyone else used the same method to pay for their dresses? I'm concerned because the link I was sent to prompted me to purchase a drawing of a wedding gown for $1 and I had to simply type in the amount I was to pay for my order! My bank rang me after I tried to pay for the dresses because they thought a fraud had occurred and the transaction didn't go through. Has anyone else had a similar experience or had correspondence with customer services about it??

Help and advices much appreciated as I thought I had the bridesmaid dresses sorted and I don't want to have to start back at the beginning!

Hi Lamb,

I'm pretty sure I didnt do this the time I bought the dresses but as you see from my above post, one dress came to the wrong spec which in the end turned out to be my fault, not bridaldreamdresses. (They had actually made it to the spec I requested but it didnt fit her so she must have taken her measurments wrong). They were actually really kind about this, they made the new dress and reshipped it last week (2 weeks after ordering it again) and only charged me for shipping and material at $65. When I paid this I had to do the process you talk about.

If you are unsure, email [email protected] and ask to confirm that the order is gone through properly. I always corresponded with a girl called Jia who always responded within 12 hrs, often within minutes.

Good luck. Will let you know if my new dress doesnt arrive this week!

I was directed to the same site when I ordered fabric swatches, just waiting for them to arrive. Im sure if you email them they will put your mind at ease.

Thanks Nobigdress and grogmg! I also got a PM from another user to say she used the same payment method on this website and received her dresses without any bother.

I spoke to my bank again and it turns out that it wasn't the website itself that had triggered their security check (as I had suspected) but my own user profile in that I had never used that website before to purchase items and the amount was a large sum. I also contacted the sales team at bridaldreamdress and they explained that the site aliexpress is just for payment and they had my order details.

I'm probably going to go ahead with the purchase now as I feel alot more comfortable using it, just still debating over colours!

Hi, I'm sure you saw my comments previously on this thread. Just to update, the final dress arrived, within 3 weeks and is perfect. They were fantastic to work with, particularly when I had a problem so I can still completely recommend them. Really impressed with the quality for the price. Each of my bms have had a tiny alteration (hem up, straps shortened etc.) and the dressmakers they brought their dresses to have all said they were amazing quality with excellent tailoring. Couldn't believe they came from China.

@ Nobigdress, I just wanted to ask if you could sent me a picture of your dress in colour 26? I am between this and no. 1 eggplant and really dont know which to go for.
@ Bousy13, I know you have gotten in there first asking for the purple swatches but if I could maybe get them after you if you get your hands on them I would really appreciate it. Hoping to order dresses soon.
