Hi Guys,

We are staying in Knockranny this weekend so cannot wait. We really really love it there and went to see if back in January. Its a little pricey but we will se if we can work around a few bits to suit the budget.

Its babysteps for us cus we are not until 2014.

Just hope Knockranny lives up to my expectations.

Il keep you posted xxx

Hello vwsw,
Are you having your reception in Knockranny in Westport?
When you were there in January, were the christmas decorations still up?
If so, what did you think of them?
I'd appreciate a reply.
Thanks.

Oh deadly - IF I decide on a church wedding, I'm hoping to get Claddagh church also, but haven't yet got a date (thinking next year).
Is it very hard to get a date? Do you have to bring your own priest? And is there a charge for using the church for the day?

It's lovely alright, not too and doesn't have that funny double altar thing that some churches seem to have (eg Salthill)

Hi Susiesun

Getting married in Claddagh church next year. Ya they do ask you to bring your own priest but the priest i was talking too said if we were really stuck they would help us out. Think we'll be ok on the priest front tho.
From what I can remember they said it was 250 for the church...
It is a popular church think we booked it almost 2 years in advance and I double checked with them again in Jan to make sure they had put it into their 2013 diary. Really wanted that church tho so I was prob being waaay to organised :)
