Dress advice please - limk or Tipp

Hi wollies,

I need your help please. Ive hated trying on wedding dresses - found it really stressful so on a recent trip to London I made a hasty decision.

I bought a dress which i had tried on in a 10 and liked - it was on sale and i bought it in a size 14!! Just wanted to be done of the dress shopping.

So Im looking for a really good dressmaker - maybe one who has done difficult alterations for you. I'll need them to take the dress down 2 sizes! If anyone has any suggestions in Co. limerick/Tipp or close surronds could you advise me please.

Really want this to work. Do not want to have to go through the horror of the shopping all over again! :-8

Friend of mine ordered a dress from US about 3 years ago and they send it in the wrong size. She had to get it taken in by about 2 to 3 sizes and length taken up. And the bodice had a lot of diamontes.

She had it done by Hannah in Cork. She works for alot of the bridal shops but also on her own. Depending on where you are in Cork, it might be about an hour down to Cork city. If your interested, PM me for her number.

Did she do your dress? If so was there much altering to be done?

Thanks - I'm just quite worried that the shape will be wrong with so much material to come off

Theres a woman in Co.Clare called Linda Wall who makes wedding dresses but does alterations also i think, ive never had alterations but shes made some of my friends dresses..shes a facebook page LindaWall Designs..that might be of some help to you..
