I was in Byrnes World of Wonder the other day in Navan as they are having a 'huge' closing down sale supposedly! Well I wasn't too impressed. Moses baskets and stands about €100 so not much off there! and most of them on display were quite dirty. There were mattresses though for cots and they were down to €35 so that was a bargain. Not much else though as store is almost empty. There were a few travel systems whose brands I wasn't familiar with and they weren't cheap by any means.

I did however this week buy a tommy tippee microwave steriliser started kit on Ebay from the UK for €4.99! and the postage was €8.99. So about €14 in total. Worth having a look on Ebay can often get stuff alot cheaper :o)ll

we were in the US recently and all the baby essentials (buggies, cots etc) were about 25% the cost they are here. Unfortunately we had no way to get them home but it got me thinking. Are there stores in the north that would be worth the trip? We are starting from scratch so need all the big stuff and was hoping there might be some post christmas sales to take advantage of. Thanks for any advice.
