Hi All,

Boodlesdoodles - glad to hear you are settling in home with your LO and that your OH is besotted :lvs

Chocolate - don't worry about the ranting - I think we're all the same at this stage :o0

The only reason I mentioned Vicks was I tried to get the nasal tube thingy in the chemists the other day - My God the pharmacist nearly jumped the counter to tell me I couldn't use it! I never even thought to ask if it was safe to be honest - it was like i was buying crack or something! :o0

I'm sure it' grand to use - I used the Olbus oil in hot water and for the first time in a week I slept last night! I am like a new woman! On the downside, the washing machine just went kaputt - down to D.I.D. with me now to get one - just hope we can get the stuff that's in there now - out!

beatingmyselfintoadress a.k.a. my bump buddy - you've put the longing on me for a curry even though it made you ill! How bad is that? I am eating EVERYTHING i can lay my hands on... literally! Think it was Chocolate who said she was craving doughnuts - meet ur twin! In tesco's earlier and bought 5 pack of custard doughnuts (they make my OH ill looking at them so I know he won't be nibbling...) only ONE left in the bag :o0

Edited to say - re: fluid query chocolate - the cons just does a small scan each time we're in - the fluid seems to show up as a black space arounds babs and they look at at that.

Girls had doc app today.Said theres a bit of mucus in my urine.He said thats prob normal at this stage.I got the anti thrush tab to take orally and have been recommended to take the canesten pessary tonite.
Finally girls im clearing out my :o)ll

walk in hot press.This is the last place i needed to do a good clean.Been at it for 2 hours hello.Was feeling wreaked so just having a rest had two lovely yogurts yum yum.
mam has dd so im using my time wisely.lol

How uncomfortable are you all feeling girls? I'm in a right state! I was never this bad on DS! I feel huge, out of breath, the sides of my bump ache, feel loads of pressure and my legs feel like they can't take my weight.

I'm sure it's normal at this stage, but I just feel like such a whale! Wednesday's induction cannot come quick enough!

I'm really uncomfortable too beatingmyselfintoadress - my feet are so swollen & sore, I feel like I'm going to tip over when I go to stand up, baby making him/herself known to my bladder & still no sign of a good night's sleep! I know we don't have long left to wait but come on babies, we've done so well to get this far why not reward us by a spontaneous arrival!!! :o0

Do you have any idea how things work in the Coombe re induction or did you discuss details? I really really hope baby arrives before my time comes!!!

Hi, I'm not sure ohsotired - they said they'd speak more about it on Tuesday. In was in HS for DS and I was given the gel 3 times there (didnt work), but when they broke my waters that got everything going. My lasting memory of it is what a long process it was and how I walked every inch of the hospital to get things moving!

The Coombe are probably similar but some hospitals may skip the gel or do things in a different order. I'll let you know what they say at the Tues appt.

Hopefully we might go before then! It's good to know others feel so uncomfortable! Sometimes I'm amazed that I have to be induced again because every time I stand up I feel like the baby is between my knees!!

have to agree with the above re;feeling uncomfortable. the left side of my bump is so sore and when i try to roll over from side to side in my bed it really hurts. i know its not long till we meet our babies and i keep having to tell myself how blessed i am to be having a baby but at the minute i just cant see the light at the end of the tunnel,i'm so bored and fed up now at this stage-bring on the excitement and bring on the babies. :o)ll

. if i'm told one more time to rest and take it easy i think i'll crack up. once again rant over :wv

beatingmyselfintoadress I was in Liffey Valley earlier & I could hardly walk by the time I was leaving - we weren't even there that long! A random woman came up to me in Dunnes & told me I looked lovely so that made my day :o0

Everything is getting difficult for me now, my bump is so big it practically goes from my knees to my chin :o0

Yes, let us know how you got on Queenie2008.

I randomly ate a pineapple last night, I.e. didn't do it to hurry things along but have started getting some mild contractions that are not BHs. Here in Italy it's mother's day today, so would be kinda cool to have my little girl in my arms tonight. Will keep ye posted :stork:

Thanks for the thoughts and good wishes!

queenie junior arrived around 20 to 10 last night after a day of induction sweep needles and screaming!

I made a holy show of myself in many ways - it makes puking in a bag on Talbot street look like nothing! But my god the staff of the Rotunda are actual real life Angels.
I will write a proper account when things have calmed down.
