Lizzie: Was so great to see baba - with a toddler at home I sometimes forget that I'm actually having another baby - yesterday DH and I had a real baby day and we are super excited now :lvs

hi ladies, glad to hear the scans are going well! Lizzie, that's a great story, thanks for sharing. Our journey was long but i am grateful to say it could have been longer and tougher like so many others. Reading stories like yours really helped me to keep positive. I'm happy for you that it worked out.

We've told all our family now and will tell our friends next week when i'm 12 weeks. Cant wait for it to be all out in the open. I'm really bloated at the moment and clothes are struggling to fit my boobs are huge too. its only a matter of time before people twig so roll on 12 weeks. xxx

Great news re the scan WifetoB... and the extra days :o0

How is everyone else doing? I'm still really tired am hoping it will lift soon.
Apart from that am bursting out of a lot of my trousers so will need to go shopping soon.

Looking forward to 3 days off work and my booking appointment on Wednesday :o)ll

frisp, I hear you on the tiredness. I'm so unbelieveably tired. :zzzz:

In fact going to go to bed in a few mins. Really hope it'll lift soon. Don't remember being this tired for so long with dd.

Tiredness here is a killer too, it lasted the whole pg last time so I'm hoping it lifts at some stage.

Told work today, they're all delighted and my boss is great. He has 3 himself so knows what it's like.

How is everyone I'm going into my 15 week! Loving it so far, my bump is getting bigger, have to say v comforting to see it and have a little rub! Has anyone started using anything to prevent stretch marks? I'm going to try baby oil and see how that goes.

Hi all,

Haven't been here in a while, looks like all the scans are going well thank god. I am about 10-11 weeks now. I have had no symptoms whatsoever and have a doppler from last time and can't hear the heartbeat yet so waiting for the scan is nervewracking. It is on thursday week though so not too long left to wait. Hope not having symptoms isn't a bad sign. No bleeding or pain though so got to stay positive. I had a miscarriage before my son and it was tough going.

Hi Ladies,
Glad to see so many of us due in November. Hope it's ok to join in.
I'm due November 12th according to last scan in Rotunda, but had a private scan yesterday that put me at 14 weeks, so we'll see.....
As for symptoms, I've had pretty bad nausea the whole way, but that's easing up now and the same with tiredness. Have had a fair amount of stretching pains and unfortunately a bit of pinky discharge at 8 and twelve weeks(when AF would have been due). Other than that, boobs a bit bigger and nipples bigger and darker... Jeans starting to get tight now too.

I read your other post about Babyscan. That was awful what the doctor was saying to you, I'd say you were relieved after you went to babyscan. I went to them for an early scan and found them brilliant. They put me 9 days ahead of my LMP dates so was delighted with that but I have my first app in the Rotunda on Wednesday so we'll see what they say. Interesting how the Rotunda scan and the private scan were different for you. Was your Rotunda one the same as your LMP date?

Yeah, I have to say it was a rough weekend, but thankfully babyscan really came to the rescue. Won't be accepting a locum apt again...
At my Rotunda scan I was 11+1 and babs was measuring th 11+6 I think. The dr. said it didn't mean dates were off, that there's a range the size fits within, about a week I think.
At babyscan, the difference was a lot bigger, I was 12+5 and it was reading 14 weeks. She couldn't do the crown to rump measurement as it was outside the parameters...
I don't think I am 14 weeks though, as due to this being an IVF pregnancy, dates are pretty accurate. I just took it that babs was doing well and a little bigger than the norm, which was a relief in the circumstances. :o)ll

Yeah I heard that they sometimes don't change your dates in hospital unless it is more than a week. Can't wait to see what I'm measuring on Wednesday :o)ll

Glad that all is ok for you now. If you do get the spotting next month at least you will know that everything is more than likely ok. Still its a bit scary I would say.

Can't believe the long weekend is nearly over already. We are thinking of going abroad for a holiday in June - anybody else have any plans for holidays. They say the second trimester is the best time to go and could do with something 'else' to look forward to and some sunshine!

Just booked a long weekend in England in June this morning. Mightn't get sunshine but lots of nice cosy inns/pubs and some lovely comfort food methinks.
