The term be careful what you wish for in ingrained in my brain, I was freaked out I wasn't getting sick and now I can't keep anything at all down!!! I also started spotting brown discharge and I'm cramping so freaked out all over again. Hopefully it's nothing though.

Vonny, try not to freak out too much, at six weeks I was spotting with brown discharge too (and lots of cramping)! It lasted a whole week for me, but everything is fine now. It was the longest week of my life! At least by being sick, you know things are going well!

Newmrsa - your poor sister. I work in the wedding industry and unfortunately hear about last minute call-offs regularly. It is hard but so much better to do it before the wedding than after... the poor thing though :(

Vonny - fingers crossed for you that it's nothing. Remember generally brown discharge is ok... it's the bright red that is worrying.

In terms of telling family ... I just told them all!! But for my friends who I don't tell myself ... I'm going to put a picture of Mr Bump as my profile pic!

Hi ladies, just around telling family, we had our early scan last weekend so brought the little pic home and just took it out of my bag and handed it to my mam and dad. They were able to guess fairly quickly what the pic was!! It was so lovely seeing their faces!

We have told a good few people at this stage but again, only people we are close to haven't told more general friends or extended family just yet, fingers crossed it will all be ok!!!

Minnie, I've started eating a banana before I go to bed and this has helped with my ms in the morning and also helps me sleep better. I read it somewhere a few weeks ago and I think it definitely works. I didn't eat one last night and was sick this morning again :duh:

I'm still suffering badly too and nothing's helping this time. Last time rice crackers by the bed to nibble on first thing in the morning were good but it's not helping now :( I can't take banana at all ... Any other tips?

I really feel for those who are having such bad ms, luckily the mornings are good for me, but come 4/5/6pm I start to feel terrible. Really bad tiredness and tummy becomes really, really bloated. A couple of friends in work know I'm pregnant and one even asked if Im showing so told her no, it's all bloat!!! I never knew what bloating was until now, it was so bad yesterday my tummy was actually sore from it! Hopefully it will pass soon!

Have my booking appointment this Wednesday, really looking forward to it, will makes things that little bit more real!

11 weeks today :o)ll roll on next week. Weeks are actually flying by I think. Morning sickness has improved beyond belief. Can honestly say that I am back to about 90%. Don't want to jinx it. Brushing my teeth is sill a job I don't like but even that has improved unbelieveably.

My clothes still fit the same as normal. Haven't noticed them getting tighter anyways.

Hope everyone is in good form. Hopefully ms will clear soon for everyone.

I feel for all you ladies with MS. Sounds like a complete nightmare. Fingers crossed it stays away from me. I'm assuming if it hasn't set in by 8 weeks it probably wont?

My hives are getting less and less as the days go by. Is it mad to be worries about that? I'm still wrecked tired though and i can't for the life of me get a proper nights sleep. Last night i sat bolt upright in the middle of the night thinking i'd missed my alarm. I think it was because of whatever i was dreaming about.

Has anyone tried any of the non alcoholic wines? I was missing vino so i bought 2 bottles of the stuff and holy lord is it complete muck. It's god-awful. The clue chould have been in the labeling... 'red wine' and 'white wine'... If anyone finds a good one will they please let me know.
