OMG just found out im preg with my 1st im scared as hell, as doc had put me on some meds for depression, which im off now but im terrified ive hurt the baba :(

Congratulations JoJo2012 I'm sure you will be fine I was the same and doc said its purely precaution to come off anti-ds and that there is nothing proven to say they cause any harm but better to be safe than sorry.

Congrats to all the new comers!!

I am now nine weeks as of yesterday!! 3 weeks left until my 12 week scan, cannot wait as it's getting harder & harder not to tell our families! Only my sil & my best friend know. Everything was fine at our early scan but still don't want to jinx anything.

Jacqueline Hyde, how are you getting on with your hives? Any relief yet?

Jeez i'm wrecked.

The hives aren't as bad as they have been. I'm still getting them everyday though but not as many as before. They come up heavily in the evenings and then i've a few in the morning. They mostly clear up during the day then. I'm seeing the doc tomorrow. Plus i've a scan! Fingers crossed for a strong heartbeat.

Firat GP appointment tomo at 6 weeks 5 days. Even though I'm sick all day & wrecked it really hasn;t sunk in yet at all that we're having a second baby. DD is hard work at 17 months and I just can;t see how we'll cope with a new LO. I am glad there'll only be 2 years between them though as it makes it easier to entertain them when they're older!

Off to bed now for some zzzzzzzzz's! Night night!

Oh Hyper i really am sorry to your mam, its hard anytime but especially when she was so young and your so young and your little 9 yO brother, thats tough! This baby will be the best little miracle for your family !

Hi girls,
GP visit was lovely... she insisted that I'm not fat, just bloated!!! She thinks the due date is slightly earlier so changed date on list below. Rang Mount Carmel and sorted 1st appointment with scan on 6th June ... 4 weeks to wait! DH is going to take the day off and we'll have lunch after & maybe go to cinema ... nice date day! Can't wait!! Yay!

Scan went great. Heartbeat is flipping away nicely and the dates are what i thought.

On the other hand my doc said i can't take anything for the hives... So the itchy and scratchy show continues....

ETA - the zapper changed Flicking to flipping.... Why?

Hi ladies,

Haven't posted in awhile, cramps have gone & no morning sickness but was feeling sick a lot especially in the evenings but it seems to have eased in the last couple of days. I'm going for my first scan on Monday - can't wait so hopefully everything will be ok. Hope the rest of you ladies are doing well :lvs

Well im off for a scan this eve, very last minute thing just got the appointment this morning. My DH cant be there as he's away with work so my Mum is going to come. This will be my second scan, my first was at 6 weeks 3 days, and my dating scan with CUMH isnt till 7th June, so im glad im having this one to put my mind at ease. Please God all will be great like the last one.

Well I ended up back in CUMH this morning for yet another scan! That makes four in total now and I'm even 10 weeks yet.

Had another red bleed last night - came on without any warning or cramps. Had one big gush and then spotting all through the night. So I rang the EPU this morning, assuming they'd just tell me to take it easy but they told me to come in for a scan. Everything looks fine anyway - heartbeat is good and baby is measuring perfect for my dates. And, they finally found a reason for the bleeding and spotting! The sonographer found a small haematoma near my cervix and said that's where the bleeding is coming from. She said it's absolutely nothing to worry about - that it's quite small and will either reabsorb or continue draining until it's gone. So I might have a bit more bleeding over the next few weeks but it's nothing at all to stress over.

I feel so much better now knowing that there's a reason for the bleeding and that it's nothing serious. Might be able to start relaxing again now!
