Hi Girls, just got my BFP :o)ll So exciting. I've got a DD 16 years old so big age gap!
I can't believe it, I just can't! Did an internet cheapie and got a very faint line, followed that with a First response and got 2 clear lines, woo hoo! Please god now that it sticks :-)

It's been so long since my first that I'm not sure what to do now, do I make an appointment with the doctor straight away? Then what?

Congrats to you all as well. :o)ll Exciting times O-O

Hi Ladies

Firstly sleep monster so sorry to hear your sad news. My thoughts are with you.

Yonka omg what an age gap, exciting times ahead & sounds like you have a live in baby minder already.
As for what to do, 1st thing is to go to the docs to confirm pregnancy & get them to fill in the paper work for the hospital. Good luck

Wishing you & everyone else a very happy & healthy 9 mths.

I found out just under 2 wks ago that we are expecting number 2. DS is only 6mths old, so not sure if we are mad, but we are so excited & delighted it happened so fast for us. I'm due back to work in June so will be a week short of the 3mths when I go back please god.

Anyway we are due on the 3rd Jan. Off to the docs this Wednesday to sort out the paper work.

Right,
I'm biting the bullet and joining here, really can't believe it. Firstly Sleep monster, so sorry for you, hope you get another BFP soon :babydust:
I got my BFP over 10 days ago and as of now I'm 5 and a half weeks gone. According to the net my date is around the 4th of January so please God a nice new year's present. Its our first so we are super excited and super cautious at the same time. I'm still fairly shocked!!! Not sick or tired or anything, thankfully. Have been to the doctor so she took all the bloods so FX all is well. Really looking forward to the next 8 months, can't wait to get chatting to everyone here, huge congrats to everyone's BFPs so far and to all who are going to join us in the next few weeks :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll Just so unbelieveably excited. Haven't told anyone yet so its great to have everyone here :wv

Hey girlies, so I got my BFP this morning!, I can't believe it! We've been trying since the wedding in Oct but this was the first month we did the whole timing thing!! I had 2 BFN last week, one I did myself, the other was in the doctors as I fainted in work... I kind of guessed at that point but was so afraid to let myself think about it. I have fingers and toes crossed for the next few weeks!

Hubby is at work, can't wait for him to come home and celebrate!! But we had a very emotional conversation at 7 am this morning on the phone!

I think I'm due jan 13th..... It's gonna be a fun Christmas and new year!! :eek

Did the Clearblue digital test today in work and 2-3 wks pregnant. Due 14th Jan apparently.
Did some crappy cheap boots tests over the weekend and thought they said negative but no sign of period so used another one today and still not clear. Finally bought Clearblue digital during lunch today and in no doubt now. I do not recommend cheap tests.

I used Ovulation sticks for the first time too and they seemed to work a treat. Unfortunately I've just spent a small fortune on two more sets as I didn't think I was pregnant. They're damn expensive aren't they?

Anyway this is no 3 for me and I'm still very excited. Not sure I'll do a decent days work again between here and Christmas! It's so distracting. DH is abroad so I sent him a picture of the test result on my phone to inform him! We're narrowing down names already and trying to decide what rooms everyone will sleep in.

I'm nervous too. Have too many friends who've had MCs or other issues with babies, it definitely comes with it's own worries. Fingers crossed and will pass every milestone with relief.

Sleepmonster I'm very sorry to see you go. Hopefully you'll be in on the next batch. Don't use those cheap tests, I thought they were useless. 4 days past my period was due and still gave me such a faint line I didn't think I was pregnant! The digital one is expensive but at least it says Pregnant or Not Pregnant.

Welcome Tess72, hoping you have a happy & healthy journey

I went to the docs today to sort out all the paper work. My doc is so funny, he said to me he knew I was pregnant as soon as I came in, he also said this on my last pregnancy too. Seems to think they don't see me very often so I must have news!

Also booked in for an early scan for the 31st May, will be 9wks at that stage. Can't wait just to know everything is ok. Fingers crossed

Any one have any symptoms, I don't really have any. Definitely feeling hungrier & snacking alot more.
Seem to be very tried in the evenings, just glad I'm not back at work yet as I suffered really bad with tiredness on my last pregnancy in the 1st trimester. At least this way I can nap when the baby is napping.

Anyway hope all you ladies are enjoying pregnancy

Thanks Theresa156 I'm brutal on this can just about post on my phone!!

Welcome tess72 great news!! You have me worried about the test now, I did two cheapy tests out of the euro shop 2 for €1.50 where would ya get it?!! They came up 2 dark lines practically straight away, I'm definitely pregnant though almost 2 weeks late I'd have to be at that wouldn't I?!!!

No major symptoms yet a bit tired thought I was starting to get a bit of ms too, nauseous last night and a bit iffy now again. I better get organised and go to the docs so I can make my hosp apt. Anyone else goin to the rotunda??
