nwr; weird foods we love

Postby apmb » Tue Sep 20, 2022 2:52 pm

I was watching Nigella Lawson on the tv at the weekend and she was making Elvis's fav food.
The first thing she made was fried banana and peanut butter sambos.
I made one an hour later, OMG, absolute heaven!!!

About a gizillion calories though!!!!

You did remind me though - parma ham and melon is just diviiiiiiiiine. I'd eat it until it came out me lugs. Must try the parmesan, pear and honey, sounds yum.

I'm also partial afther a rake a porther to a curry coleslaw schnackbox! Great food and the sort of thing that you would never, ever eat sober :D

Does anyone else here think that cheese should never be included on any sandwich containing chicken or tuna? Honestly, I find even the thought of it revolting........

Hi Ladies,
first of all I'm printing off this thread to prove to H2B that my food tastes are not weird - it could be a lot worse.
I love mince stew, french toast with sugar (can't imagine it with salt), a mini box (one piece of southern fried chicken) with real chips, stuffing, peas and sometimes even curry over all of it mmmmm! Wish we had a chipper up the road
Would have onions, garlic, tomatoes and colman's english mustard in almost every meal if possible.
Digestive biscuits with custard is another treat when H2B isn't around. I know there's loads more but just can't think of them at the mo.

Moniker,
I'm with you on the cheese with chicken or tuna - the concept to me is positively vile.

But ladies, a guy in here has taken the biscuit (pardon the pun) for eating unusual combinations - he was seen in the canteen mopping up the gravy on his plate with custard doughnuts!

I went to McDonalds today cause I was in town at lunchtime and I love adore cheeese burgers... well because the trousers weren't sqeezing my bottom today I thought I might be becoming an anorexic so I thought it was best to pay McD's a visit... you know just to be on the safe side.

Well girls... someone had left off a stink bomb and I didn't know what to do. I was about to have one of my most favourite things in the world but the smell was awful... it was a real dilemma do I stay or do I go... I was like a rabbit trapped in the headlights.... anyway I decided to stay.. and got myself a cheese burger... I practically swallowed it whole and got no satisfaction out of it. I couldn't have a drink cause they were doing roadworks on Winthorp street and somehow they broke the drinks thing. Anyway since I've come back to work I can't shake off the pukey sensation from the "stink bomb" its like as if it got into my lungs... I feel like one of Pavlof's Dogs... like I've been classically conditioned so now each time I think of a cheese burger I'll feel like getting sick because I'll be reminded of the smell of stink bomb..

Anyway to help out with the threatened anorexia I've had a bag of King Crisp lites and a pink wafer snack too... now my belly is flopping over my trousers...

I also agree that cheese with Tuna is vomate.... and so is cheese and chicken... my favourite sangwiches are egg with lots of salt, pepper and onion!

I don't have weird eating habits but I used to eat cold bisto gravy on fresh white bread with wholegrain mustard and baked beans... absolutely delish when you come in from the pub at 3AM!
