Thanks ladies! Glad you enjoyed it.

Bridee - I have a long-term medical condition so nothing new at all. I was crippled with mouth ulcers for a while and I just felt lousy. But it comes with the territory so I don't really mind anymore, but it did slow me down a bit. I'm grand now though, thank you!

And yes, I've decided, even though I am morally against bridezillas, it's ok to be one if you REALLY need to be. How's that for double standards eh?!?!

Any advice on starting a blog...I've set up a free wordpress one but I haven't put anything on it, but the idea of a blog sounds like fun. I'm not getting married myself but I've helped out my sister and friends with stuff for their weddings and I love making wedding stuff, so I was hoping to blog about that....basically try out loads of different wedding crafts and perhaps just general craft projects as well. I love the idea of recycling & repurposing stuff and love finding bargains so I was kinda hoping that I could incorporate all of that.

It would just be a hobby for me though as I'm not a b2b but if anyone has any advice/suggestions as to how to get started please let me know as I really want a good hobby for these long winter evenings :-8

Hi Kila, you don't have to be getting married yourself to blog. How about having a look through some other 'crafty' blogs to get a feel of how they do it? Here are some of the craft blogs that I follow:
http://www.notmartha.org/
http://sewwoodsy.blogspot.com/
http://somedaycrafts.blogspot.com
http://dollarstorecrafts.com

You can document your progress on individual projects, or any ideas you have. It's really up to you how you do it. I love making boards inspired by whatever I come across that week, others write about what they are doing. The best advice I can give is just start posting, once you feel like your posts are ready for the public start sharing. I shared mine on here before facebook, partly cause I wanted some feedback from non-biased people before my friends and family were reading it!

However you decide to do it, have fun, don't stress and remember it's for your enjoyment, nobody elses.

ETA - there are probably loads of DIY wedding blogs out there, I don't follow any atm, really. But if you do come across any good ones please let me know!

Here is a good DIY bride blog
http://www.diybride.com/

But like Mrssmith2be said, you can blog on anything at all that interests you. My own blog is just a mix of all the things I spot that I like. Some wedding related, some house related, some fashion related ect.
I suppose it depends what you want out of it. For me its just a place my friends can go to see how wedding/ house plan's are going, and maybe give some inspiration to other brides. For others its more a business, a way to promote their talents, and gain an audience. A lot of home craft's businesses and esty sellers have their own inspirational blogs.
You should definitely give it a goo, its free and sure if you don't enjoy it how bad. You've nothing to lose!!
Let us know how you get on......
