Anyone else worry when H2B went on stag?

So H2B left this morning for his stag in Galway, cant honestly say i thought much about it until he actually went this morning and all the lads in work were winding me up telling their stag stories and reminding me that Galway has best strip clubs and casinos. Been putting it all out of my mind, fingers in ears la la la la la dont want to know then my best friend whose husband is also away texts me saying shes panicking

Now i fully trust H2B its all the hussies out there that i dont :o0

and also he has a few questionable friends :eek

I'm also worried about the safety bit - you know what a group of drunk men are like when they think things are brilliant ideas!

please tell me i'm not alone, that this is normal and i havent turned into some paranoid fiancee - i'm planning on keeping busy and occupied all weekend to distract me from these irrational crazy woman thoughts :o0

I sent my husband off to his stag half cut! We had a few drinks in the local first and off they went on the bus. I honestly didn't care if he went to a strip club or whatever I have complete trust in him. I wanted him to enjoy himself and I certainly wasn't one to say he couldn't go anywhere!
He had a great time, came back in a mankini!

He was actually the one that kept texting me...when he left the last thing I said to him was I didn't want to hear from him until he was getting off the bus again, and he kept texting!
The lads he went with were grand he's not the type to be roped into something he doesn't want to do anyway.

cant say it cost me a thought, and i knew they were going to a strip club, but if you dont like your husband doing that, or getting sloppy, or betting then it must be hard to think about him being away.

is it that you think he'll lie about what he's gotten up to? or cheat on you?

strip clubs i have to say i dont agree with on a personal level but if someone else wanted to do it then thats there choice i'd have no problem with it. The gambling, i have no issue with but i'd be more worried about H2B as i know once he gets into it he can get caught up in it but he knows himself to avoid things like that because of his lack of control - saying that they are going to the dogs tonight :o0

I dunno what i'm worried about, probably more the safety side, i know he wouldn't cheat or lie, thats 100% i just wish people would stop winding me up and he is a very good looking man so i'm just imagining scantily clad ladies flipping around a stag lol I dunno why i'm thinking these things i never do what is wrong with me - i'm blaming AF and her god dam crazy hormones!

You're better off not thinking about it too much or it'll drive you mad. I never knew what my husband and all his friends did on his and I still don't know. But I have to say it doesn't bother me. I trust him and couldn't imagine him doing anything untrustworthy on his stag. They went to Newcastle and I thought they'd actually get arrested for something - but they all came home in one piece.

Try not to worry or think about it - I know it's hard but busy yourself with other things. And you'll find that he'll probably send you the odd text to let you know he's ok coz he'll be missing you so much :lvs

But no, you're definitely not alone in thinking something will happen. Everyone does. He'll worry about your safety too when you go on your hen. Guaranteed.

No, he had a very sedate stag. He went for a meal and drinks with his mates. He's not into strip clubs or the like, I think the novelty of them wore off after the first couple of lads got married. I think he was home by 1am! He's a sensible lad, I don't worry when he's out, he knows how to take care of himself.

I really hate strip clubs so I'd kind of be thinking 'if you went, don't tell me I don't want to know'. Just have a bit of an ethical (for want of a better phrase) with them and he knows that so I don't think he'd go to one now.

thanks MrsDarcy - good to know i'm not alone and i'm with you on the getting arrested for doing something silly that they think is great craic - only good thing is his dad will be there and hes a lawyer so hopefully wont let the lads get up to any mischief :o0

OH is having his the weekend after this - he has no idea where he is going and has been told to turn up at the airport and he is slightly freaked out :o0

As a few of the lads live in London I suspect that that is where he will be going. If anything bad happens to him my parents live there so he will be rescued. My main concern is that he has fun and enjoys himself. The lads booked it for a time that suits them rather than him and so I know he is stressing because it doesn't suit him workwise >:o(

Galway has the best strip clubs and casinos?? - There is 1 "casino" and 1 strip club that I know of and even at that, Im not sure they are still open. He'll be fine, dont worry about it :wv

Nah, I didn't worry about him. I knew he wasn't going to go bonkers and act like it was his last night/weekend here on earth. He probably let a bit more loose than he usually would be I knew it wasn't going to be a mad hedonistic time. His friend are a good bunch of lads and much like the marines, they'd leave no man behind :o0
