TTC weightloss buddies???

Gosh, that's brilliant Hopefully Soon.

Well done on the fantastic weight loss.

I haven't had a great week-I've had a few things going on which I have used as an excuse to eat-I keep finding excuses!

I haven't been half as bad as over Christmas but not nearly as good as I should be.

Will be weighing myself on Monday anyway as I have to keep at it this time!

I would like to join you girls! I am 5ft 8 inches and weigh 13 stone. I am well proportioned and people are always saying I dont need to go to WW but I know Im way too heavy for my height. Have been this weight forever, except when myself and himself broke up three years ago - I lost a stone but it was pure trauma - didnt want to eat anything! I have been on and off at WW without great success. My problem is that I dont eat much meat and so often have dinners which consist of potato and veg - thats it. Then I'm craving something else, usually sweet shortly afterwards. Has anyone else experienced this?

How about having some sugar free jelly when you crave something sweet? Or maybe a mini crunchi (1.5pts) if you think you can just have one!

I've been on WW so many times myself. It's worked twice (lost 2 & 3.5 stone) but I find it's too easy to give up on it. Once I've a bad week I just don't bother going back. That's why I wanted to start something new & got a personal trainer. Still monitoring my food by using WW online but I know if I'm motivated to exercise I'm generally a lot better with my food. My big problem is that I'm just plain lazy & like the comfort of the sofa too much!!

Anyway, best of luck with you weight loss whichever way you decide to approach it!

Hi Schnooz, hope your weigh in tomorrow goes well. Just remember why we're doing this & that should help with the motivation this week. :babydust:

Actually, Schnooz & Peanut Girl I just noticed that we're all on about the same CD. How long are your cycles usually? Mine are usually 28 days. I find that my food & exercise gets really bad during my 2WW so I think I'll need you to keep an eye on me then! :-8

Does anyone else find this?

I have a 32 day cycle. I find the week before af is due I get very bad cravings!

Haven't been able to weigh myself this week yet-we had to move out of our house due to a burst water pipe at the weekend :o(

Anyway, hopefully I will be back in our house soon and a bit more routine will be in place as well. Haven't eaten too badly given the circumstances!

My cycles are usually around 30 days - I only started that ticker thing to help me monitor things as I was really bad with recording dates etc so I find it helps me. Yes , I would eat anything and everything coming up to AF arriving and its really annoying! Also put on tonnes more weight around that tome so have started drinking loads of green tea and that is helping. Funny thing is I had fitness assessment in gym today and when he weighed me I was half a stone lighter than it shows on my home scales! I questioned him about this and he said gym scales were pretty accurate so I was delighted but am kinda sceptical as I weighed myself again when I came home and it was exactly same weight as before! And when I go to WW its a different reading as well, but usually heavier! just wondering are scales rigged in WW to make you feel worse!! :eek

Well unfortunately I don't need to worry about the 2ww this month ladies coz I ov'd early & didn't get a chance to BD coz we were both working mad hours. :o(

I'm just back from a long weekend away & I feel like I've put on the 7.5lbs that I lost last week. :o(

I didn't track what I ate at all & really didn't think twice before putting things in my mouth. :duh:

Did plenty of walking while sight seeing but I'm not feeling confident at all. Anyway, back to the gym tomorrow & back to tracking.

As well as my aim to get pregnant, I'm now also going to be a bridesmaid in Feb 2011 so I've yet another reason to shed the 3.5 st! :-8

Peanut, it's a good theory about the WW scales! It could well be true. I always just weight myself on my own scales now at the same time so at least I know it'll be consistent.

Well I haven't lost any weight yet-started properly today-2 weeks after I said I would. So hopefully we will both have a weight loss next week.

I was down 1lb over the last 2 weeks - that's after my long weekend away so at least I lost the weight I put on there & a bit more. I'm happy with 8.5lbs since 2nd Jan. I'm just keeping up the gym 3 times a week & ok with my food - not perfect. At least it's finally taking my mind of TTC :-8

Mind you, AF is due in the next day or so, so I'd say give me a week & I'll be focused on temps & CM again!

Well done Hopefully Soon! That's a great weight loss over 3 weeks-I really have to cop myself on. I get a fair bit of exercise and my meals are healthy but my snacking habit is serious at this stage!

Hi Lolabelle,

Unfortunately I'm still knocking around with a hell of a lot of weight to lose. I'm usually good with exercise but my diet is v poor especially at the moment due to the fact that I'm working long hours.

I'd be happy to kick this off again too as I've lost focus yet again! :duh:

1 st by Christmas sounds like a good target. I'll go for that too!! I'm going to relax this weekend & refocus from Monday. Mind you I just read about a mars bar cheesecake over on off topic & I'm sooooo tempted!! :-8
